Overjoyed to share my first book, “Learning to Be a Cowboy on the Horse That Broke My Arm”

50 copies, 8.5”x10” fabric bound hard cover, 50 photographs on 200gsm paper, $55

Pre-orders will be available for those who will be in attendance this Saturday, May 9th at @4startheater , I will be taking orders at the merch table after our performance.

This project was made over the course of three months spent traveling across the southern United States with my previously-estranged father to meet his side of the family for the first time.

I combine personal photography, archival family photographs, and related ephemera as a means of investigating my family’s deeply-rooted cowboy identity and the various forces that resulted in our estrangement.

Copies will be available online, along with the accompanying EP, on May 15th via bandcamp.

All Set The Bone is out today

Back in April I hopped on the last few days of the sessions for this wonderful record with @oldgraig and @congletonjohn and was lucky enough to sing on a handful of the tracks

So grateful to have watched what I know is a generational record take shape and to have been included alongside such a talented group of people

Beyond excited to rock out on tour with this crew at the end of this month

Trinity Ace (b. 2000, San Francisco Bay Area) is an interdisciplinary artist whose work examines the
architecture and visual language of myth construction and manipulation in America. She is interested in
media and spaces designed for pleasure and persuasion, and how these structures present gleaming
facades that mask underlying mechanisms of control. Often vibrant, sterile, and surreal, her work combines
personal narratives, art-historical references, pop-culture characters, and the glossy aesthetics of commercial advertising to create sites of connection that reveal the violence, humor, absurdity, and beauty of the images permeating our culture. She completed a BA in Art Practice and American Studies from Stanford University in 2025.

To make LTBAC, I cut down from over 80,000 images to only 50. There were so many images I loved but didn’t have a place for the story. Here are some of them.

Learning to Be a Cowboy on the Horse That Broke My Arm, the EP and the book are both out now and available to purchase on bandcamp.

Can’t describe how good it feels to have these things out after so many years. Thank you so much to everyone who brought it to life with me. Thank you to everyone who screamed with me on Pierce. Thank you to Declan, Korey, Ely, and everyone who helped write the parts for each song. Thank you to Reid for making everything happen, producing, and encouraging me to record these songs in the first place.

There are CDs and 20 books left available to buy through bandcamp. For books I’d prefer Venmo me at Trinity-Ace $55 for Bay Area hand delivery and $62 to anywhere else in the US. Message me if you are elsewhere we will figure it out.

More to say later but thank you so much for listening this project has been the most meaningful thing I’ve ever done.
