Thanks Sports Illustrated, Christy Martin, Sydney Sweeney, the Great Clay Patrick McBride and the whole crew for coming down and shooting at the gym. Boxing has saved more lives than CPR. Support your local PAL.

Catching up with @martinsnow at @trinityboxing in NYC is always a fun conversation. We wanted to get Martin’s thoughts on boxing as “the sweet science,” but for him, boxing is more than just a science. To Martin, boxing is a full education—and science is merely one of the subjects taught. Yes, boxing is science, but it’s also art. And for Martin, who grew up attending NYC Jesuit Catholic schools, boxing is religion. taken in Trinity Boxing by @trinityboxing

I am honored to be honored by Ring 8 this year as the ‘White Collar Trainer Of The Year’ on November 29 at Russo’s On The Bay in Howard Beach. It would be great if you could make it down. If you don’t like me at least you’ll love the food. Special thanks to our old Gramercy friend Ron McNair for nominating me for the award. by @trinityboxing

Filming today on ‘The John Duddy Story’ starring Dean Winters, Holt McCallany, Colin Quinn and Cillian Murphy as John Duddy. If you thought he was good as Oppenheimer he’s twice as good as Duddy. Maybe three times. Directed by Sawyer Spielberg. They’re calling this movie the Irish Rocky and I’m not surprised. Anyway, training on Duane Street today so don’t stop by Vesey hoping to get in on the action. The answer is no. Gym is open tomorrow. They’re only filming exterior scenes so that might be your chance to make a cameo. taken in Trinity Boxing by @trinityboxing
