torta milanesa i picked up yesterday near the dover nj transit station.

no jalapeños or oaxaca cheese 🧐 can hardly call it a torta if i’m honest. it was still good, drizzled my salsa verde over it as always.

insane cheese pull. (torta cubana from the upper east side) i probably wouldn’t get it again since becoming pescatarian bc i’ll still eat meat here and there but there’s SO MUCH meat on cubanas. nevertheless, a quality torta. by @trinitystortareview

torta de tinga from the same food truck by my job *chefs kiss* (i’ve gotten it like 3 times now) 9/10. also am i the only one that asks for salsa verde on the side so i can pour it over each bite 🫣 just me? okay. by @trinitystortareview

excellent torta de camarón from a food truck near my job. the bread was the perfect texture, it had all the torta essentials—avocado, oaxaca cheese, jalapeños, etc. and the salsa verde was the perfect color and amount of heat to kick up the sandwich’s spice. don’t remember the truck’s name but when i do i’ll edit the caption - 8.8/10 by @trinitystortareview

so i was in texasssss so i had to get a torta for obvious reasons. but this was giving nothing. it was giving shrimp poboy but not exactly shrimp torta. the salsa verde wasn’t spicy fr. idk it was just off imo. :( not even mentioning the name bc i don’t recommend it. it wasn’t bad but it wasn’t really good. mid ass sandwich. - 3/10 by @trinitystortareview

got this torta de pollo from al horno, a chain restaurant near my campus. it’s pretty good but could be better for the price (they charge for hot sauce, yikes!). wish the lettuce was crispier. love the amount of avocado but just wish the chicken had a bit more flavor. really filling and enjoyable but i think i can say i had better. taken in Al Horno by @trinitystortareview

hi! so i got this carne enchilada torta from new ranchito deli here on staten island. they have really good tortas, i usually go for a torta de pollo from them because that’s just my baseline for a good torta. this was very good but it could’ve used a little more meat. carne enchilada isn’t usually what i go for but it was pretty tender and i wish there was a bit more. yk i had to hook them up w some salsa verde bc that’s just how i like my tortas. by @trinitystortareview
