It’s been a long 4 years of high school and it’s time to close that chapter of my life. I had so much fun with all my teammates and coaches. I made so many memories that will forever stick with me!! Words cannot explain how much I love this sport. I have had the opportunity to play for the past four years and it’s been nothing but a blessing. I am thankful for all my teammates through the years and for my coaches. From day one to the final game, this team became family. Our season might of ended a little earlier then we expected but no matter what I’m grateful for the time I had while I was apart of this program. I got to be apart of this program when we lost every single game to going 16-8 this season. I couldn’t have been the teammate I was if it wasn’t for God, my parents or my coaches. They touch me how to be selfless,support my teammates and how much one can care for another. This wasn’t just a sport to me this was something I loved and put so much effort into even when things didn’t seem clear. This was a life lesson that taught me how to be selfless and what true love really looks like. It taught me that life is unfair but life keeps going and everything happens for a reason. I loved playing for the Helena high school girl flag football team these past 4 years and I can’t wait to see how much farther the next generations take this program. As my favorite coach would say “WE ALL WE GOT WE ALL WE NEED”!
