Jeremiah 29:11 - “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

whew!

Today, I graduated from THE Tuskegee University. My journey was nowhere near easy. I suffered losses, experienced many setbacks, and had times where I wanted to, and did, give up on myself.

But, God!

God and the people He brought into my life saw something in me that I didn’t see until now. I now see a woman who is capable of anything she puts her mind to. I see a woman that treats adversity as a stepping stone, not a roadblock. I see a woman that won’t make herself small to fit into other people’s worlds. I see a woman that has a purpose on this earth. She’s everything 18 year old Trinity wanted to be. Everything truly does happen for a reason. Everything that I said I’d do, I did.

I’ve had the pleasure of knowing so many great people since being here. To all of you, I thank you for making my journey here at Tuskegee one I’ll never forget. Even though my time here has come to an end, I will never forget the mark Tuskegee has made on my heart. I’ll miss you dearly, Skegee <3
