honouring the fact that we’re on track to hit a global temperature of 3°C by 2050 with some pics from last winter ⋆⁺₊❅.

maybe we could have avoided disaster if we had just listened to the scientists…but now i guess we’ll never know

Because this is America, Lois. Men have always run things and there have never been any problems whatsoever. And don’t say the economy or Iraq or income inequality or racism or Brett Kavanaugh or air pollution or Vietnam or slavery or Watergate or capitalism or #MeToo or homelessness or police brutality or homophobia or Monica Lewinsky or Native American genocide or Fox News or Tim Allen or climate change.

i’m posting this a day late because not only am i not american, i also sincerely anticipate the day the american empire burns to the ground. i’d like to call attention to the fact that a nation built on indigenous genocide & african slave labour and that thrives on racism, sexism, and misogyny does not deserve an inch of celebration

can you really call it a land of the “free” when families are being pulled apart and left to rot in abusive, inhumane, ICE detention centers? when the prison system is for-profit, thereby making every prisoner equivalent to another dollar in a wealthy mans pocket? when young boys are brainwashed by a propaganda machine that tells them it’s honourable to die in another continent “for their country” - the same country that fails to provide adequate mental/physical/social support to them IF they return? ruling class ped0philes will run circles around themselves trying to convince us that this oppression is normal, to look to the sun and blind yourself to avoid seeing the things around you, how bleak and tragic and disgusting it all is. but bricks were thrown at stonewall, and MLK jr had a dream; so happy 250 to all of my hardworking and lovely american friends and followers <3

i wanna be grateful for the experiences that i’ve had (my first ever @bleachersmusic show) (which was incredible btw) / i wanna be grateful for the experiences that i’ve had (being gut-punched by a few songs so hard that i cried off most of my eyeliner) / i wanna be grateful for the experiences that i’ve had (saying hi to @jackantonoff and snapping a heavily disgruntled selfie) / what it cost i aint ever getting back (my neck vertebrae health after some violent headbanging)
