A little hesitation is all it takes to create separation! 🥶 Get a DB to stop his feet, and AJ’s explosiveness and fast twitch take over. 💨

A 4.5 GPA and the fastest kid on the Oxford Yellow Jackets team—this kid needs to be on a college roster! Blocking, punt blocks, opening lanes on punt returns… AJ does the dirty work that doesn’t show up on the stat sheet.

College coaches, turn on the FULL film. His value goes beyond the ball in his hands! 🎥🐝 by @trip7era

Before Ole Miss, the foundation was built at Oxford High School. 🐝🏈

Trae Elston came through a staff that included John Grass, J.R. Sandlin, Todd Bates, Chuck Dunn, Darius Gilbert, Darrell Cline and Sam Graham—coaches who helped shape the player he became through accountability, preparation and high expectations.

J.R. Sandlin is now SMU’s Assistant Athletic Director and football General Manager, helping build its roster and recruiting classes after stops at Oklahoma, Jacksonville State, Alabama, Tennessee and Notre Dame. (smumustangs.com)

Todd Bates played at Alabama and helped Clemson win the 2018 national championship as a coach. Today, he serves as Oklahoma’s Associate Head Coach, Co-Defensive Coordinator and Defensive Tackles Coach, developing talent for the next level. (soonersports.com)

Darius Gilbert brought his own college experience as an Alabama football letterman from 1998–2001. Chuck Dunn’s coaching journey includes Troy, South Alabama, Jacksonville State and UAB, two state championships at Prattville, and now coaching linebackers at Samford. (bryantmuseum.com, samfordsports.com)

Much respect to John Grass, Darrell Cline, Sam Graham and every coach who poured into those Oxford years. Behind a great player are people willing to teach, challenge and hold him to a standard every day. Their impact lasts long after the final high school snap. 💯 by @trip7era

He told that Bama fan he was gonna make a play… and then HE DID. 😭🔥

Trae Elston takes us back to one of the most iconic moments in Ole Miss football history — and the trash talk that made it even better. 🏈

And trust us… this is just ONE of the stories from our conversation with Trae. 👀

From the back-to-back Bama wins to his NFL journey, we’re talking all things Rebel football on the latest episode of Oxford Audible. 🎙️

Only 14🔥 Tyson is a 2031 ATH out of Etowah, and people still don’t realize how special he could become. His ability and mechanics at this age give him a strong foundation. Keep developing and stacking days the potential is serious! ⏳🏈 by @trip7era
