POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

As we wrap up another showing season at Triple Creek Eventing, I find myself thinking less about the results and more about the people, horses, and moments that made this year special. Watching my riders grow, push through challenges, find their confidence, and celebrate their accomplishments is what makes this job so rewarding.

Now comes the hard work behind the scenes. The months spent getting better, stronger, more confident, and more prepared for everything next season has in store.

This photo is from our Beginner Novice and Novice course walk at Tomora, and it captures one of my favorite parts of this job: coaching.

I love being part of the process. The conversations on course walks, the lessons that finally click, the tough days that teach us the most, and those moments when a rider realizes they’re capable of more than they thought.

You win, I win. Your success is my success. And I genuinely love watching each of you become better riders and horsemen along the way.

Here’s to a winter of putting in the work, chasing new goals, and coming back even stronger in 2027. ❤️

SOLD! 🎉 Another delayed congratulations to all connections on the sale of Frankie (C Born Fresh Z), a lovely eventer with a long resume who was looking for his perfect person. He never even made it to the open market before being snatched up by exactly the right home! @cmcelwee.eventing

As with all sales, this one is a little bittersweet. Frankie quickly became a barn favorite during his short time in the program, but we couldn’t be happier with where he landed. We can’t wait to follow along and share updates on all of his future successes. Congratulations to everyone involved! @katie.mac.love

If you’re looking for a full-service sales program to prepare your horse for sale, keep them in professional training, market and advertise them with class, and utilize an established network to connect them with the right buyers, visit our website today.

I truly love nothing more than finding great horses their perfect people. ❤️

Triple Creek Eventing had a wonderful final outing of the season at Tomora Horse Trials! This beautifully run event is always one of the highlights of our season, and we were so happy to be back. @triplecreekeventing

Despite a few unfortunate scratches, nine TCE horse-and-rider combinations contested the weekend and brought home some fantastic results:

🥇 Bricelyn & Matty — 1st, Junior Novice
🥇 Raven & Captain — 1st, Beginner Novice
🥈 Josie & Walter — 2nd, Starter
🥈 Kingsley & Roger — 2nd, Junior Novice
🥉 Lauren & Crazy — 3rd, Intro
⭐ Logan & Magic — 4th, Junior Novice
⭐ Becca & Gold Digger — 6th, Starter
⭐ Ali & Star — 6th, Beginner Novice
⭐ Alyssa & Reverie — 8th, Starter

But maybe our biggest win of the weekend: ZERO cross-country jump penalties across the entire TCE team! 🎉

That is always one of my biggest goals when we head to a show. Safe, confident, well-prepared cross-country rounds matter far more to me than ribbons, and I’m incredibly proud of how every one of our riders tackled their courses.

A pretty great way to close out the season. ❤️

Thank you to the entire Tomora team and all of the volunteers for putting on such a beautiful event. We can’t wait to be back!

We’re excited to share a new partnership for Triple Creek Ranch and Triple Creek Eventing!

We are partnering with CU Sports Medicine’s Equestrian Sports Medicine team to bring additional health, safety, and sports medicine resources to our riders.

Equestrians are athletes, and our sport comes with unique physical demands. Through this partnership, our community will have access to resources including expedited sports medicine care, concussion recognition and return-to-riding protocols, injury and rehabilitation support, rider education, and emergency preparedness training at the farm.

Our team has already experienced firsthand the value of working with providers who understand equestrian athletes—not just treating an injury, but helping riders address strength, asymmetry, mobility, and safely return to the saddle.

We’re incredibly excited to continue building a program that prioritizes the health and safety of our riders alongside the education of our horses and athletes.

A huge thank you to CU Sports Medicine for supporting our riders and our sport. We’re looking forward to everything this partnership will bring to the Triple Creek community!

A slightly delayed wrap-up from an incredible trip to Kentucky for the 2026 American Eventing Championships! 🇺🇸🐎

Coach Rebecca Caulfield, team members Tate S. and Logan O., and our beloved friend and fellow trainer Anna made the long trip east to Kentucky to contest the AECs.

We were lucky to have a wonderfully boring trip both ways, beautiful Kentucky weather, a great house, and some of our support team join us along the way. And, of course, we came home celebrating some pretty awesome results!

✨ Logan & Magic — 10th, Junior Beginner Novice + Reserve Champion TIP
✨ Anna & Prim — 3rd, Training Horse
✨ Becca & Horacio — 9th, Preliminary Rider

Tate had a great start out on cross country, but unfortunately had a tough go at the water and wasn’t able to finish her weekend the way she’d hoped. Results aside, Tate continues to be the definition of a wonderful teammate and horsewoman. She shows up for her horse and her team, through the highs and the hard days, and we absolutely treasure having her as part of this crew.

As a group, we couldn’t be more thankful to Ella and Molly for making the trip out to help, and to the entire village at home that makes adventures like this possible. It truly takes a team, and we are incredibly lucky to have ours.

So… is it too early to start setting goals for next year?

Let’s do it again. AEC 2027, here we come! 🇺🇸✨

This is my why. ❤️

Among all of my amazing riders who have truly made this summer one of the most rewarding I’ve had as a coach, Lauren stands out.

She has been the definition of “trust the program.” She leaned all the way in, even when it wasn’t easy. She bought a horse who needed a more confident ride than we initially realized. There were falls. There were setbacks. There was lost confidence. And then there was the decision, over and over again, to keep showing up, keep learning, and trust the process.

And this weekend, we got to watch it come together.

Lauren & Crazy’s show jump round was the winner of the entire weekend for me. Watching this horse and rider, who have worked SO hard to understand and trust each other, put in an absolutely foot-perfect round was magical.

This is why I coach.

Matching horse and rider. Building confidence. Doing the homework. Trusting the process when progress doesn’t feel linear. And then getting to stand on the sidelines and watch all of that work turn into a moment like this.

The ribbon is wonderful. The win is so well deserved. But watching the partnership they have built? That’s the success.

So incredibly proud of you, Lauren. And so thankful you’re on my team.

Wow. What a privilege it is to coach moments like this. ❤️

The fall event at Archer @theeventatarcher has been a staple on my calendar since the very first year the show opened. It’s always a challenging and fun weekend, with wild weather, successes, learning, and everything that makes eventing what it is.

This fall was no different. Our riders were intrepid through changing seasons, starting school, changing jobs, tough footing and everything else life threw at them. And our village showed up completely for our riders and horses. ❤️

At the end of the day, this is supposed to be fun. We should be having fun, our horses should be having fun, and that’s what eventing is about. Our riders showed grit and grace all weekend, and I am so honored to be your coach.

🏆 Archer Results

🥇 Starter CT: Lauren & Crazy
🥈 BN CT: Molly & Cambridge, and we are SO proud of you for getting into that show ring!
🥇 BN: Raven & Captain
🏅 4th BN: Ali & Star
🥉 3rd Novice: Logan & Magic Shot
🏅 11th Novice: Bricelyn & Matty
🏅 13th Novice: Tate & Sunshine
🏅 16th Novice: Mary & Gladiator

A HUGE congratulations to Bricelyn and Mary on completing their first Novices! I’ve had the privilege of watching both riders grow from their first Starter events all the way to Novice. WOW. So proud of you both!

Starter got a little exciting too! Presley & Benny had a great dressage test before some bad luck on course when another rider impeded their track and Benny spun trying to save them. Sometimes that’s eventing, and they’ll be back to fight another day!

Amanda & Milo had a good run around XC before Milo decided show jumping was not his game that day, despite Amanda’s best efforts.

Overall, a great weekend full of ribbons, successes, lessons learned and homework for the next one. Looking forward to finishing this season strong!

Next stop? AECs in Kentucky!! 🇺🇸✨

Before we get into results, I just want to say how proud I am of this team.
Triple Creek Eventing and Rebecca Caulfield Eventing had an incredible weekend at Bayou Gulch. The ribbons are exciting, but they are never the whole story. The real wins were the teamwork, horsemanship, growth, sportsmanship, and the way every rider showed up for one another and for their horses.
It truly takes a village to make weekends like this possible. Thank you to our families, owners, grooms, veterinarians, farrier, facility owner, coaches, volunteers, and everyone behind the scenes who helps make this program what it is. We couldn’t do it without you.

Results:
🥇 Becca & Horacio – 1st Open Preliminary
🏅 Tate & Sunshine – 4th Novice
🥈 Bricelyn & Matty – 2nd Beginner Novice
🏅 Raven & Captain – 6th Beginner Novice
🏅 Mary & Gladiator – 9th Beginner Novice
🥈 Devan & Vegas – 2nd Starter
🏅 Amanda & Milo – 6th Starter
🏅 Presley & Benny – 7th Starter

Some weekends can’t be measured by placings alone.
Alyssa & River handled an unexpectedly exciting weekend with maturity beyond their experience, completing their very first horse trial despite missing the end of show jumping.

Josie & Walter put together a beautiful weekend from start to finish before one suspicious rail in stadium led to an unplanned dismount. That’s eventing, and we’re proud of the grit they showed.

Lauren & Crazy continue to grow into an exciting partnership. Although cross-country didn’t go as planned, they came back to produce a picture-perfect stadium round. That’s resilience, and that’s what this sport is all about.

Thank you to everyone who cheered us on, supported us, and believed in this team. We’re incredibly proud of every horse and rider, and we’re already looking forward to Archer!

Rebecca Farm recaps deserve more than one post, because every horse and rider had their own story.

First up: Alyssa and Gladiator. @amf.eventing

This was their first Beginner Novice together, and they made the trip to Kalispell with open minds, ready to learn, and no idea what to expect. They jumped in with both feet and were incredible teammates all week long.

The results speak for themselves. Alyssa improved her dressage score yet again to put herself in the top 10, tackled cross-country with confidence, finishing with just the penalties from a circle, and wrapped up the weekend with a clean, clear show jumping round.

What makes me the proudest isn’t just the ribbons—it’s watching a rider embrace every challenge, learn from every moment, and keep getting better each time out.

I’m so proud of Alyssa and Gladiator and can’t wait to see what the future holds with this pair… and with her two wonderful horses.

Here’s to the continuation of an exciting, fun journey. ❤️
