Nobody said what SIZE of game I was bred to hunt.

Versatility is versatility, folks.

And if we’re handing out style points for those ears… this hunt is already over. 🏆

Thanks @tinydarkroom for the 📸 and laughs! Life with Gertie is truly entertaining to say the least!

There are people who walk into your life with loud voices and grand entrances, and then there are those rare souls whose quiet kindness leaves a mark that time can never erase. Blayne Hurt was one of those people.

Some losses don't seem real. They stop you in your tracks, leave you searching for words that never seem adequate, and remind you just how fragile life truly is. Today, we mourn the devastating loss of a young man whose life was filled with promise, whose heart was genuine, and whose future should have been measured in decades, not memories.

Blayne had dreams. Big dreams. He wanted a life built on purpose, hard work, and passion. He wasn't afraid to put in the effort to become something greater than himself, and anyone who spent time around him could see that his heart was invested in everything he did. He carried himself with a quiet strength that spoke louder than words ever could.

At Triple Flush Kennel, Blayne wasn't simply someone who came to work. He became part of our family. He showed up every day with dedication, humility, and a willingness to learn. He never looked for recognition. He simply did what needed to be done, worked hard, and cared deeply. But what made Blayne truly unforgettable wasn't just his work ethic ~ it was the incredible compassion he carried for every animal in his care.

There was something extraordinary about the way our dogs responded to him. Animals have a remarkable ability to see what people sometimes overlook, and they saw something incredibly special in Blayne. Puppies melted into his arms. Older dogs sought out his attention. They trusted him completely because they recognized the gentle soul behind his hands. His touch was calm, patient, and reassuring. He never rushed them or demanded anything from them. Instead, he offered quiet kindness, understanding, and a sense of safety that cannot be taught. It simply came from who he was.
Watching Blayne with a litter of puppies was enough to understand his heart. He celebrated their little victories, laughed at their playful antics, and treated every life ~ no matter how small ~ as though it truly mattered. Because to him, it did.

A little more grown, a little more educated, and ready for her new home. Watching them grow is such a privilege, but goodness, I wish time would slow down just a little.

Thank you, Mark and Tara, for trusting us with Bettie and giving us the privilege of not only being her breeder but also part of her training journey. Watching her grow has been such a joy, and there’s no doubt this sweet girl was meant to fill that missing piece in your hearts and home. 🤍

Mae was bred with a taste for birds. We just helped her develop a more refined palate.
Instinct in her blood, purpose in her paws, and a whole lot of bird dog between those ears.
She's all business when the birds are flying… but judging by that last expression, there's occasionally a little elevator music playing upstairs. 🤪😂

Beauty, brains, bird drive… and just the right amount of DERP!

Thanks @traciturner1 for the opportunity to put training on her for you! She's a good one who will provide you lots of good hunts and wonderful memories

A well-trained dog should be just as well-behaved on the road as they are at home!

At Triple Flush Kennel, our training program goes beyond obedience in a familiar environment. Our dogs are also conditioned to traveling in a vehicle, learning that every adventure doesn't mean it's time to be ON.

For a high-energy German Shorthair, learning to settle, remain calm, and simply enjoy the ride is just as important as learning to sit, stay, or recall.

Obedience isn't something that should only exist in the training field or inside your home. It should follow your dog EVERYWHERE.

A truly well-trained dog understands when it's time to work, when it's time to play, and when it's time to simply relax.

Whether it's a quick trip to town, a long drive across the country, or heading out for a day in the field, a calm, confident, well-mannered traveling companion makes every experience more enjoyable.

A great hunting dog knows how to turn it ON. A truly versatile dog also knows how to turn it OFF.

Because at the end of the day, we aren't just training hunting dogs. We're building companions you can confidently take anywhere.

Bettie from our #danitripplitter heads home today with @taraharvey.1 so we decided to take one last trip down Main🤍

🐾 MUDDY MOOSE — BUILT FOR DOGS THAT LIVE FOR ADVENTURE! 🐾

First, I want to thank Mark and Valerie, the founders of Muddy Moose, for giving Triple Flush Kennel the opportunity to put their product to the test!

After years of being loyal to one particular dog shampoo, I can genuinely say Muddy Moose exceeded my expectations! From the beautiful packaging to the actual performance, they've created something worth talking about.

But rather than simply recommending another product, I wanted to introduce our Triple Flush Kennel families and followers to the people, passion, and purpose behind Muddy Moose. Because to me, that matters just as much as the product itself.

And their story certainly struck a chord with us! 🤍

Muddy Moose is a family-owned business inspired by none other than their German Wirehaired Pointer, Moose!

After their weekly hunting adventures, Mark and his oldest daughter would stop to wash Moose before heading home. Like so many of our versatile hunting dogs, Moose would be covered in mud, burrs, and everything else the field had to offer!

Frustrated with shampoos that simply masked odors with fruity or floral fragrances, only to have that familiar wet-dog smell return, Mark and Valerie decided there had to be something better.

Their mission was simple: Create a product dog owners could be proud to purchase, and one that actually WORKS!

And that's how Muddy Moose was born!

They intentionally named their charcoal-powered formula Adventure Residue Remover, rather than just another shampoo. It's unscented by design, made without added fragrances, parabens, dyes, or silicones, and manufactured right here in the USA, in Texas.

The packaging itself reflects something we understand all too well: muddy trails, crisp mornings, wide-open spaces, and the adventures that make having these incredible dogs so rewarding.

And what about Moose himself?

Now seven years old, Moose is still enjoying hunting and hiking adventures, but he's equally happy being a couch potato with his family. He's even mastered opening doors and entertaining himself with his favorite stuffed turtle! Sounds like a versatile pointer to us! 🤣🤍

Building bonds, one step at a time!

Bubs, just 2 years old, walking Winnie, our 4-month-old pup, like they’ve been doing it for years! Smooth, calm, and working together beautifully! (Trix x Tripp litter)

And here’s Makanalei with her newest best friend, Mila, who’s just 6 months old! Watching these two grow together is going to be something so special. Thank you to @muhr95 for setting a strong foundation. They’re not just working on obedience, they’re building trust, respect, and a connection that will last a lifetime. (Knik x Mack litter)

It’s more than just training dogs. It’s about raising the next generation of handlers, teaching responsibility, building confidence, and creating lifelong partnerships.

The future starts young, on both ends of the leash! 🐕🔥

THE BEGINNING OF A NEW CHAPTER!

Three dogs. Two families. One shared passion. A future full of possibilities. 🐾

There's something pretty special happening behind the scenes at Triple Flush Kennel, and while we're not quite ready to share the entire story, we couldn't let this moment pass without celebrating the beginning of something extraordinary!

Next stop… MAUI, HAWAII!
Meet the handsome crew headed back home to paradise with @makamedeiros_gsps of @tripleflushkennelhawaii

🐾 SARGE (Left) ~ From our #tatumtripplitter2

🐾 MILA (Center) ~ From our #knikmacklitter

🐾 RUSTY (Right) ~ Our Australian import, bringing a little international flavor to this incredible trio!

Three incredible dogs, each with their own story, their own genetics, and their own purpose. But what makes this journey so meaningful isn't simply where they're going. It's what they're going to represent.

For us, the heart of a truly versatile dog has never been defined by what it can accomplish in the field alone.

It's the dog that can hunt hard from sunrise to sunset, tackle demanding terrain, work with determination, intelligence, and natural instinct… and then come home, settle at your feet, and become an irreplaceable part of your family.

The kind of dog that gives you everything in the field without asking you to sacrifice everything you love about having a companion at home.

That's the balance we believe in. That's the versatility we strive for. And that's the legacy we're committed to building.

Sometimes life brings two families together who share far more than a love for dogs. They share values, vision, dedication, and a belief that doing things the right way will always matter more than doing things the easy way.
Different journeys. Shared values. One common purpose.

As Sarge, Mila, and Rusty make their way across the Pacific, they carry with them more than exceptional potential. They carry the hopes, hard work, and dreams of two families who believe the best chapters are still waiting to be written.

We are incredibly excited about what lies ahead, grateful for the relationships that have brought us to this moment, and proud of the dogs that will help shape taken in Triple Flush Kennel by @tripleflushkennel

Meanwhile, the countdown is ON! 🌺🌴 Sarge and Mila are getting ready to make their highly anticipated debut on Maui, Hawaii! Can’t wait to get these dogs home, put them to work, and see what the future holds.

A lot of hard work, dedication, and passion goes into building quality bird dogs. The journey never stops, and we’re just getting started!
