Playoffs 2026! Missing Thursdays with @pitches.softball bring on next season! ❤️💙❤️💙❤️💙❤️💙❤️💙❤️💙 (also we are always looking for players to all my gal pals in bow valley 😘) by @tripppstagram

Still riding the high of Change Makers, was such an inspiring evening and met so many unbelievable women! It was so surreal to finally see people interacting with Violence in the Valley after a feeling pretty apathetic about the project. I can’t wait to see what the future holds, but investing more in the community through art seems like the most meaningful and fulfilling way forward! Big love to all those who helped me along the way and above all I’m forever grateful to anyone who shared their story. The form is still open, as long as I am living in the Bow Valley this project will continue to grow and evolve! by @tripppstagram

I am feeling so uplifted by the overwhelming support for this piece and reassured that the actions of the Town of Banff are not at all reflective of the community. Thinking about making a zine of the stories, wondering where they could be distributed if anyone has any thoughts. And for all the albeit well intentioned folks who have said to me maybe if you don’t include names next time - that is the whole point. If we can’t call for accountability on a bed sheet hanging in the corridor of a sleepy town hall, where can we? Anonymity is a dignity reserved for survivors, if you have a story and it would be healing for you to share please see link in my bio #silenceisviolence #banff #bowvalleylocals by @tripppstagram

The Town of Banff has decided not to show my work at the HomeGrown Art Show because they are worried about POTENTIAL for legal action. Their legal team could not specify what about the piece made them liable, just that the “the piece in its entirety” could open them to legal issues.
Let’s be honest about what that means. An artwork about gender-based violence — built from anonymous stories and news reports — is considered too risky for a public space in this town. That decision says more than the piece ever could; this is exactly the problem the work is trying to illuminate. When institutions choose caution over conversation, comfort over accountability, and reputation over reality, the message that survivors hear is clear: silence is more convenient than truth.
Silence is not neutral. Silence protects the status quo. Silence is one of the forces that allows violence to continue in tight-knit communities where speaking up can carry shattering social consequences.
Let me be clear: this project was never meant to shame the Bow Valley. I love this community!!!!! That’s exactly why I made this work!! But places that look beautiful on the surface are still made up of human systems — and those systems can fail people.
This mural was meant to inspire collective action and open dialogue, not close it! The message from the Town of Banff is clear: the mere possibility of legal risk is more concerning than the reality that survivors in this community are already carrying. by @tripppstagram

A collection of my fave bruises of 2025 by @tripppstagram

Check out my piece ‘Violence in the Valley’ in Banff Town Hall, the Homegrown Art Show is up until March 31st. Was great to see so many people connecting with the piece on opening night last Friday, I hope that this is the beginning of a much bigger project I have been wanting to embark on; the untold stories of sexual violence in Banff. I have heard so many people, of all backgrounds and ages, talk about experiences of sexual harassment and assault in the Bow Valley; and they all share so many common themes. Sexual violence grows in silence and shame, if you would feel comfortable to share your stories with me, please send me a message. by @tripppstagram
