📍Devil’s Cauldron Trail - Hike #4

Summer Hikes Update: Last summer I set a goal to hike at least once a week and loved all the adventures that came out of it! This summer I am doing the same thing, so here’s to our updated list of our summer hikes so far! Who’s going to join me????

Secret Beach was definitely a harder beach to find but so glad we did! If you are wanting to see this beach be sure to go during low tide to get the best views!

Directions:
Drive .5 of a mile north of the Natural Bridges Viewpoint Parking lot. There will be a pull off on the west/ocean side of the road. Park in there and then take the trail on the far north/right side of the parking lot. There is a spot that looks like a trail and it’s definitely not the trail! See last photo for a visual.

📍Natural Bridges, Oregon

This was definitely one of my favorite stops on our Oregon Coast road trip and one I’ve had saved for so long!!! If you’re driving along the Samual H Boardman corridor, add this stop for the most amazing views!

Just beware that this hike to the view is extremely steep and slippery! There is an easily accessible viewpoint right by the parking lot, but I really wanted to try and hike down to get a better angle/view of the natural bridge! If you hike down please bring appropriate gear with you and take your time! We used hiking poles and crampons for extra traction and stability and I will say there is no way I would have gone all the way down without them.

After a crazy car issue that resulted in us having to purchase a new car on our road trip to Oregon we finally made it to the coast safely! Cannon Beach was the perfect first stop for our daughter to see the ocean for the first time and put her little feet in the sand! I will never forget this moment!

Unfortunately we did miss the trail of ten falls because of the whole car situation, but I am just so thankful we have been able to continue the rest of our planned trip! We will just have to come back one day!!!
