Planning a trip to Halkidiki before the season ends? 🇬🇷 Here is the real 1-day cost breakdown per person in September:

🏨 Accommodation: €50 – €80 / night

🍽️ Food & Tavernas: €20 – €40 / day

🏖️ Beach: €0 – €15 (Unorganized wild bays or min. drink spend at beach bars)

💳 Total Estimated Cost: €70 – €135 / day per person

💡 Tripwest Travel Tips:

• Don't Overdrive: Halkidiki is much bigger than most people expect! Moving between peninsulas means extra driving, retracing your route, and spending more time in the car than on the beach.

• Choose Your Vibe:

Kassandra: Perfect if you want resorts, organized beach clubs, and nightlife.

Sithonia: Ideal for beach-hopping, turquoise waters, and untouched nature (our absolute favourite!).

Athos & Ammouliani: Great for quieter experiences, boat trips, and fewer crowds.

Our advice? Choose one peninsula. Maybe two at most!

💬 Comment "HALKIDIKI" and we’ll DM you our complete beach list across all 3 peninsulas! 📩

Greece's most slept-on coastline. 🇬🇷

While everyone's booking Mykonos and Santorini, Halkidiki quietly does it better — pine forests running straight into turquoise water, three peninsulas, and a lot less noise.

🏖️ Sani Beach: Halkidiki's most recognized name — 7km of pine-backed beach for the whole family.
🤍 Domes Noruz: Adults-only, all-white, and unapologetically design-forward on the coast.
⛰️ Eagles Palace: A quiet corner near sacred Mount Athos — 50 years of family-run hospitality.

Pro Tip: Kassandra is perfect for beach clubs and dynamic views, while Sithonia and Athos offer pristine, quiet bays surrounded by nature.

Think you know Santorini? Think again. 🇬🇷✨

September is hands down the ultimate sweet spot to experience the island. The peak summer crowds finally fade, the Aegean heat turns into a warm breeze, and you get to experience the caldera's magic without waiting in 2-hour lines.

Save this master list before you book your trip:

🏛️ Iconic Spots: Wander past Oia's blue domes, stroll the cliffside paths of Imerovigli, and explore the quiet alleys of Pyrgos.
⛵ Caldera & Sea: Take a sunset catamaran cruise along the volcanic coastline, swim between Red Beach and White Beach, and grab lunch in Ammoudi Bay.
🌅 Best Sunsets: Skip the Oia crowds and head to Akrotiri Lighthouse, Skaros Rock, or the Fira-to-Oia cliff walk for breathtaking views without the elbow-to-elbow crowd.
🍷 Wine & Dine: Taste crisp, local Assyrtiko wines at a cliffside vineyard built on volcanic soil, then close the day with a caldera-view aperitivo.
💎 Hidden Gems: Escape to Megalochori and Emporio for authentic Cycladic architecture without the queues, or unwind on Perissa's black sand beach.
