Another banger just dropped. I had the luck to sit down with one of the most successful players of the year, none other than Tristan “Abstrakt” Bhikam. He just ended the season as the best team there is on the globe for NSL. We went over some good in - depth questions where you will all get to know who he really is.

In 2023 the day before Thanksgiving I hydroplaned on the highway going to visit family in New Jersey and God spared my life. I swore to him, my family, my friends and my teammates that this year would be a historic run for everyone involved.
November 2024 marks my two year anniversary of playing airsoft.
In 2024 EastCoastEnergy became the first Trans-Continental airsoft team to have played a full season in both Europe and The United States.
ECE played in 9 NSL tournaments over the last 12 months. 4 of us playing in 10.
We had a 26-1 regular season record.
A continuing win streak of 24 games from the 23’ season into the 24’ season.
We mercied every team in the Eastern Conference Finals except one to take 1st for the season. We unfortunately came up short at 2nd place in the US Championship this year but that was the necessary fuel needed to end the year off strong.
ECE placed 2nd at our last Pro-Series event with a roster of 5 players with the help of @dsd_speedqb as our PitCrew. Two of our 5 players never played overseas before, let alone against Pro players. @ece.lucky , being on this roster, became the youngest competitor of the NSL Pro level at 14 years old.
@tjay.bread, @ece.hollywood, @kodak.ece and myself have won both S-Tier events, Nations Cup for Team USA and Globals for ECE, in the same year putting us in a very short list of players to have ever accomplished this goal in the history of the NSL.
This was the first Global Championship after the Pro-Series was introduced.
I don’t say any of this to brag. I don’t say any of this to put my competitors down. I do not think we are the greatest things to walk the face of the Earth.
I say this to show my gratitude and appreciation for being able to experience what this 2024 season became. Thank you to our sponsors. Thank you to my teammates who played every single game like it was their last. Thank you to the ones who believed this to be possible. Thank you to Extreme Airsoft for having the greatest airsoft facility in the world and for always having our backs. We did this together.

Nations Cup 22’ was the first event I watched of NSL before East Coast Energy was a team.

A dream come true.

To travel to Europe was enough of a reason to feel blessed.
But to travel for my craft and to represent The United States in the process is what tops it off.

I can’t thank my coach, my captains, my teammates, our hardworking sponsors, my home field, ECE, my family and friends enough. You all made this possible.

Majority of European players had a bad taste in their mouth about American players. They didn’t think we were legit going into this event. They know now that there should be some worry for what next year holds.

We had no practice together as a team. No prior chemistry. We played a total of 4 days together, including the tournament. We took home Bronze. I’ll never be satisfied with taking home 3rd in any competition. But I will be satisfied knowing that we made this work with what we had. And I’m forever grateful for this experience and anyone who made this memorable moment in my life what it was.

It’s hard to put into words what this meant to not only me but the team. To be the first ever United States Champions of NSL is something we always knew we wanted but never really knew how it would come about. All the literal blood, sweat and tears was worth it boys. We made history. Our first tournament we didn’t even make it past the first round. But it’s not how you start, it’s how you finish. Everyone doubted us. No one thought we deserved it. We proved them all wrong. Thank you to the parents of all the young dawgs of the team. Your blind faith in us to lead your boys is something that I can’t thank y’all enough for. ECE, thank you for trusting me as one out of your four captains this season. I love you guys.

A special thanks to @bayside_breezyspeedsoft , @otg.off_the_grid and @ngssairsoft for your support. Y’all showed some real heart. We appreciate the love.

To Lenny, Danielle and our entire Extreme Family, Thank you. This is way deeper than just a title for all of us. All the work you all have done wasn’t for nothing.
