Serving in youth has been nothing but a joy! ☺️🤍

To know that when I was in their shoes I was lost, confused, and broken. I hid behind a mask that showed I was okay on the outside, but really I was dying on the inside.

At such a young age I was in bad addictions, depressed and anxious always looking to fill a void in my heart. I was living in a home filled with chaos… I always wanted to be loved and chosen and would search for that in all the ways, except for running to Jesus. I was angry and confused about a lot of things.

Over the years of going to church and being in small groups and being surrounded by leaders, I was filled with so much head knowledge of Christianity and Jesus, but once I realized I can do nothing without Christ, that I could not overcome without the blood, that I could not have the victory while living in sin, I truly accepted Jesus in my heart! I wanted a relationship with him. I just know He was waiting for me to surrender and accept Him into my heart.

When I say I let Jesus in my heart, I made him Lord over my life, I no longer was a slave to my sin, I no longer was deceived by the lies of the enemy, that I am not good enough, that I don’t fit in, that I am not loved, that I have sinned too much and that I’m too far gone.

My character started to change, I became confident in who God created me to be, I started to love more, I started to heal from wounds I didn’t know were even in me, I learned how to walk in peace despite my circumstances, I learned how to walk in freedom, I truly understood the love of God was perfect all ways… I did not have to earn his love, he freely gave me his love when he sent his one and only son to die on the cross for me.

The next generation needs us to rise up and live like Jesus, to love them and lead them! They have so many voices, influences, and opinions around them. We need to bring the truth to them! If not you, then who?! We need to be BOLD! 🤍🙏🏼🙌🏼

Thank you Jesus for your healing power, for your love. Thank you for your Holy Spirit that leads me and forms me into the most perfect daughter you created me to be. Thank your for redeeming my life. I am nothing without you. I am lost without you. I am broken without you.

In 2022 I was freshly saved and went to a concert, I was raising my hands and i heard so clearly, “that’s what you do at church” i immediately put my hand down. I watched on stage as the artist was soaking in the praise of the people. It creeped me out. The Lord started opening my eyes to the corruption of the music industry and how it is counterfeit worship at these festivals. Due to my all or nothing personality I gave up all concerts and secular music. I only listened to Christian hip hop, until 2024 i started finding other christian music genres and other artists were being saved. I read the book The Seven Mountain Prophecy by Johnny Enlow. It opened my eyes even more to how culture is influenced and how God wants to bring purity and holiness to the mountain of celebration! You don’t have to compromise living a Holy life to have fun!

serving at christian festivals will always be close to my heart because it’s God redeeming my ex festival lifestyle in a Holy way!
