I had the best couple of days celebrating being this beautiful woman’s mom for 22 years and this amazing husband’s wife for 29 years. Jason, how blessed that we have persevered for 29 years. I love you dearly and here is to 29 more adventure filled years. AG, you were the sweetest little anniversary gift to us 22 years ago. 20 years ago today, I became the mom to this beauty. Ana Grace, you are pure joy. You light up the darkest of rooms and are always willing to do whatever it takes to put a smile on my face. I can’t believe you are 17 today! Daniel, you are a gift from God. It has been a complete honor and joy to be your mom. I have loved seeing you grow into the man God has called you to be. We said we were going to do it and we did. Four parks in one day with my favorite girl. Thunderstorms, unrelenting heat and a couple of blisters couldn’t stop us. Thank you for another great weekend @ana_gracee .

Grateful. That’s the word that keeps popping into my mind when I think about what a gift this past week was with my crowd. They have grown up much faster than I would have liked..
And while I’m so dang proud of each of them I have to admit it’s a little bittersweet.

It was a weekend to celebrate AG’s birthday but she gave me the gift of the greatest mom daughter trip. From the castle to seeing the Queen herself, I was blessed with the best weekend.
