Yesterday was one of my favourite outreaches I’ve been part of🥹🥰 the full video was too long to post but I got to share part of how I got saved even though I’ve been a Christian my whole life.
It wasn’t until I took time to spend with God that l realised how far away I was from Him and got baptised in 2022. The way Paul referred to himself as a chief sinner, I can 100% see I was a “chief luke warm Christian” but in whatever delulu land I was living in…l didn’t even realise it 🫠😅. We’re in the world but we’re not meant to be of the world…there was no difference between me and someone who’s not a Christian. BUT GOD in His mercy never gave up on me and kept drawing me to Himself. To anyone that might feel like they’re too far gone to ever come to God/come back to Him, there’s no such thing. The story of the prodigal son is the perfect example of how He is with us. He can forgive and restore you like nothing ever could. When He says “I am He who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake” He means it…when He says “though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow” He means it. He’s not a man that He should lie.

I lived long enough in disobedience to God before that when He now wants me to do something I’m like 🫡 because of my love and trust in Him.
One of my favourite quotes is “obey God and leave all the consequences to Him” and I couldn’t think of a better life principle to live by🫶🏾 taken in Northampton by @trishsimone_

Ahhhh I’m so excited because I never dreamt of ever writing a book but I don’t think some of the things we go through/overcome are meant to just be kept for ourselves. Us sharing our testimonies and what God has done can be a lifeline for someone else.

God is still very much in the business of Redeeming and Restoring His children, no matter what their past looks like and I pray that this book will be that reminder for those that need it🙌🏾 by @trishsimone_

God can still use you - my first ever keynote🥹

Last week I had the honour of delivering a keynote on how God can still use you, no matter how your story began. The nerves were real before getting up to speak but once I started - they were gone.
Earlier that day when sharing words of encouragement, someone said “the truth can’t be messed up” and that is true. I was sharing my own personal testimony of the goodness and faithfulness of God and there’s no way that kind of truth can be messed up.

If there’s ever one message I want my life to communicate and show is you’re never too far gone for God to use you.

One comment that let me know what I set out to do that day was achieved was a comment from a young lady who said “Trish’s story was the one that I listened to most intently. Trish’s story was a timeless reminder that God always has a purpose for us in this life. Things happen for a reason, leading back to a purpose.”

The London half marathon was toughhh but definitely one of the best experiences! As someone who’s not naturally a runner/trackstar, I can only thank God I got to the finish line still standing😅

My only regret afterwards was not going straight to a spa afterwards for a few days😆coz the suffering from recovery was real!
