Haven’t had much free time…. Just like that, over a month went by and I hadn’t picked up a paintbrush or a pencil.. I needed to find balance and clear my head, so I stayed up a few nights working on this piece. In total, it took almost ten hours from gridding to the final details, and I’m so happy with it. Size is 8”x8”. Comment how many 💚s you found in it?! This piece reminded me to remember the sweetness n passion in life. To look for love, to push myself out of my comfort zone and be bold, and that a risk is worth taking. I didn’t realize how seductive it would turn out to be in the end, but I love it! #colorpencildrawing #houstonartist #htownart Photo inspo: @silasehrazatyucel #trispeace taken in Houston, Texas by @trispeace

“Drawn to You” is a small (6x6 inch) acrylic painting I just finished a few nights ago.. I changed the tone a couple of times, but overall like the playful, fun vibe. What do you think of it? Should I keep working on small sizes like this? LMK in the comments. Finally finished this portrait of @thatmexicanot 🫡😮‍💨Spent over 30 hours on this piece using @prismacolor color pencils. Nearly passed out when I finished it, but wanted to push myself to do a bigger piece than what I’m used to. My mind has been heavy so working on this was needed. OT saw it when it was in the beginning stages, but tag him so he can see the finished product! Let me know what y’all think about it in the comments😛Prints coming soon, DM if interested #mexicanot#houstonart#htownart#houstonartists#cowboy#coloredpencils#trispeace taken in Houston, Texas by @trispeace

The butterfly who flew by me on my walk with broken wings inspired my final painting of my “Hou Give Me Butterflies” series, which now hangs on my wall and serves as a reminder to keep going ✨🦋✨#houstonartist #htown #femaleillustrator #butterfly taken in Houston, Texas by @trispeace

The final piece to my “Hou Give Me Butterflies” mini series is complete 🥰! It will be featured tonight at the @urbangalleryhtx exhibit at @saintcharlestudio🦋✨ this is a 24x36” mixed media, I used spray paint, oil pastels, acrylics, music compositions, and posters from EaDo that I ripped down to draw a butterfly I saw on my walk recently. Even though it’s wing was damaged, it kept flying #houstonartist #femaleartist #butterfly #letgo #htown taken in Houston, Texas by @trispeace
