9 years of figuring out our own groove, creating our own culture, and continuing to choose each other. There was no blueprint on how to do this, we’ve seen others but quickly understood our journey was unique. Thank you for continuing to say yes, allowing me to learn how to be a husband. This isn’t the typical birthday photo/post. On this day i don’t have anything long or profound, i came into this birthday in this posture, and this is the posture i will be in for this year. Not just because of what he’s done in my life, not just because of the promise he’s given me and my family, but the fact that he lives and claims me as his own! So the word for year 37 is GRATEFUL.

Dads and donuts day at Cienna’s school to close out the school year! So glad i was able to attend this and i know it meant a lot to her! One thing i always say with my dad was that he was and is ALWAYS present in my life! Can’t remember a major moment and my dad was not there! So that is the standard i always hold myself to. Another thing that was so awesome this morning was to see how many FATHERS were at the event, i mean we were deep! Shoutout to the present dads!
