Safer streets. Better sidewalks. More accessible public transportation. Stronger communities.

The Greenville County and City penny taxes would fund billions in infrastructure improvements, including safer intersections, sidewalks, bike lanes, drainage improvements, greenways, and better public transportation through GreenLink.

At Triune Mercy Center, pedestrian safety is personal. Many of our neighbors rely on walking, biking, and public transportation every day. These improvements could make a meaningful difference in their safety, mobility, and quality of life.

Building a safer, more accessible Greenville takes all of us. We ask you to prayerfully consider voting YES on both the Greenville County and Greenville City penny taxes.

We are currently in need of many items for our food pantry; most urgently, items for our pop-top bags. These are bags filled with ready to eat food that does not require a kitchen. Please see those items listed here, but also visit our website to see the complete list of items needed, which includes items for hygiene kits, as well as warm coats and hoodies in all sizes. Click the link to our Wishlist in our bio.

Some have asked about an Amazon Wishlist. For those utilizing Amazon, we simply ask that you select the items you'd like to donate, then have them shipped directly to Triune by using 222 Rutherford Street, Greenville, SC 29609 as the shipping address. Those wishing to bring items themselves may contact our front office for drop off times: 864-233-8020

We appreciate your support.

Our latest newsletter features Greenville Homeless Court. Homeless Court is a free, voluntary diversion program designed to help people experiencing homelessness exit the criminal justice system with little-to-no impact on their record. Rather than being held in a typical courtroom, Homeless Court sessions are held at Triune Mercy Center and target those with nonviolent offenses such as shoplifting, trespassing, or simple possession of marijuana. To learn more, click the link to the newsletter in our bio.

Sundays at Triune. ❤️

Every Sunday, people come through our doors carrying something.

Some carry hunger. Some carry loneliness. Some carry grief, disappointment, addiction, rejection, or the scars of a difficult week — sometimes a difficult life.

Johnny Cash’s haunting version of “Hurt” gives voice to that reality: the pain we carry, the things we’ve lost, and the longing to know that our lives still matter.

And that’s why Sundays at Triune matter.

This week, we are especially grateful to Pelham Road Baptist Church and John Knox Presbyterian Church for serving lunch and sharing their time, food, and compassion with our neighbors. Thank you for showing up and reminding people that they are not forgotten.

At Triune Mercy Center, we believe ministry begins by seeing people as they are — not judging their wounds, but walking alongside them. Sometimes mercy looks like a hot meal. Sometimes it looks like a conversation, a listening ear, a safe place, or simply someone saying, “You matter. You belong here.”

Because hurt is real.
But so are grace, community, dignity, and hope.

This is Triune. This is mercy. And this is what we do together.

Frank is one of our many valued volunteers here at Triune Mercy Center. Frank helps out in the front office, organizing mail, arranging flowers, and occasionally has been known to drive people to the doctor‘s office. Anyone interested in learning more about volunteering at Triune should contact our volunteer coordinator, Grayson at 864-233-8020 for more information.

"All the people gather..."

At Triune Mercy Center, these words aren't just lyrics—they are our daily reality. Every time we open our doors, a beautiful tapestry of individuals comes together, ready to help carry each other’s burdens.

We see it every single day:

We are hope despite the challenging times.
We are strength when the road gets heavy.
We are a family that reminds each other we don't have to walk alone.

Life can change all of a sudden, but so can our hearts when we share in true community. To everyone who steps through our doors, who volunteers, and who supports our mission: thank you for bringing your joy here, and for taking it with you wherever you go.

Come gather with us this week. There is a place, a purpose, and a hand to hold for everyone.

As we continue our series exploring the problem of Christian nationalism, we’re reminded that the kingdom of God cannot be controlled, co-opted, or confined to any political movement.

You can try to claim Christianity for a nation.
You can try to turn the cross into a symbol of political power.
You can try to silence voices that call for justice, mercy, and inclusion.

But you cannot stop God’s work of renewal.

At Triune Mercy Center, we believe the church is called to something bigger than protecting power or drawing lines between who belongs and who doesn’t. We are called to follow Jesus—to welcome the stranger, love our neighbors, stand with the vulnerable, seek justice, practice mercy, and proclaim hope.

You can cut the flowers.
You can never keep spring from coming.
