It’s Sunday evening revival with friends old and new. Haley’s gonna help me lead the praise choir. Would love to see you in the congregation.

Special thanks to @marshallfassinomusic, @thevillagerpeople, and @commissioner_cakes of @the_villager_tavern for inviting me to share my testimony. taken in The Villager Tavern by @triviawithnate

📣 Hello Hillsboro Village!!! This week we are featuring the duo act of Nate Beaver and Haley Place. They are both good friends of @marshallfassinomusic and @triviawithnate was also the long tenured trivia host @12southtaproom . Nate has played in iterations of Marshall’s solo project so we decided to ask him to grace us with his iconic presence, and they said yes.

So pls come help @thevillagerpeople give the lovely couple a warm musical return to The Villager!

The Trivia With Nate Grande Finale medal stand.

I’m blown away by the packed house turnout and truly humbled by your kind words, gifts, and personal tributes.

I’m gonna enjoy this weekend — my first in 8 plus years without any trivia prep to stress over — then collect my thoughts on this weird little community we built together and strive to come up with an adequate way to say thank you to all involved.

“Don’t be sad that’s it’s over, be happy that it happened.” Yeah, I’m getting there.

Love,
-Nate taken in 12 South Taproom & Grill by @triviawithnate

Okay people. My sweet sexy friends at @12southtaproom have graciously made the entire restaurant available for tonight’s final Trivia with Nate event, with audio outside AND inside. This, along with a spotty forecast, will make for a memorable but chaotic evening for sure.

I have only one request: PLEASE be extraordinarily kind, patient, respectful, and generous to your staff!Since the closing announcement a few weeks back, these lovely folks have been worked to the bone serving the thousands of people fighting for one final Taproom experience while also dealing with the emotional weight of figuring out what’s next for themselves and their families. It’s a LOT to deal with, and they need all the help you and I can give them — take any frustrations you may have out on me as usual, deal?

Okay, looking forward to seeing trivia friends old and new tonight. It’s the end of an error! My heart is full. And sad. Prepare to be hugged.

Love,

-Nate taken in 12 South Taproom & Grill by @triviawithnate

I can’t stress enough that if you were hoping to squeeze in one of your final dinners with us this evening, make it an early bird kind of night and come before 6:30!!! We hate to exclude anyone who is coming to say farewell to us, but Trivia with Nate has been a production at Taproom for years (I (Jordan) was the original score keeper and fact checker in 2018, and it was terrifying. You guys are ruthless!) But Nate has grown quite the cult of Trivia regs and we think he does the best job of bar trivia we’ve ever seen, so we owe it to the people to give him more space for a final hurrah! Thanks for your understanding! by @triviawithnate

Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 7:30. @12southtaproom has graciously offered to open the entire venue (inside and patio) for the event, so the family encourages all trivia goers past and present to come pay their respects. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. taken in 12 South Taproom & Grill by @triviawithnate

I was told these pants were designed to “reduce the appearance of bow legs.” That’s the last time I shop at Gap Kids.

Anyway thank y’all for playing! Hope to see y’all next week for the final episode of Trivia With Nate, when all tables in the house will be available for trivia with audio on the patio AND inside. Gonna be total chaos, which feels right somehow. taken in 12 South Taproom & Grill by @triviawithnate

Last week’s medal stand. Only two more weeks to go! Anything you’d like to see or topics you wanna cover before it’s all said and done? taken in 12 South Taproom & Grill by @triviawithnate

It feels like the right time for tonight’s Best Team Name prize, this LP from 1979’s No Nukes concert series at MSG. Inspired by the Three Mile Island accident, it kinda feels like the unceremonious 3-disc death rattle of mainstream hippie culture — but man your parents would love it.

Anyway see y’all tonight! The game starts right at 7:30 but as always get there early to claim your table. taken in 12 South Taproom & Grill by @triviawithnate
