My heart feels so empty since you’ve been gone. I’m going to miss you waking us up at 3am every morning with your cute little voice. The way you would run down the stairs to greet me every time I opened the front door will forever be engrained in my mind. You were the best Christmas surprise anyone could ask for. What hurts the most is knowing that Cole won’t have his best friend and older brother around anymore. I know he already misses you and sniffs around to figure out where you’ve been. You always made sure to give my Mom tons of love with your biscuits and cuddles that I’m forever grateful for. The last couple of days you were in such a good mood and finally let us shower you with the love you always deserve. I hope you know that we love and miss you so much that it hurts. It doesn’t seem fair and while life doesn’t feel fair at times, what we can control is the way we’ll honor and celebrate you every day. I imagined growing up with you 10+ years from now as best friends do and that is something that is going to hurt me for a while knowing I won’t get that. I know it wasn’t easy for you with Cole being the new kitten, but the way you cared and took him under your wing just shows how amazing of a cat you truly are. You guys would rough house for hours on end until you got tired and decided to snuggle and lick each others ears until you both fell asleep. You were the best friend and brother anyone could ask for. As I cry now I just wish I could give you a last goodbye with a big hug and squeezee for you and Cole to share. You will always hold such a special place in my heart and I’ll cherish that til my last days. You were so special to me and my mom and we’re both forever grateful for you.
