(Taking this caption from my Facebook)

I had the wonderful opportunity to get to participate in the University of North Texas Conductor’s Collegium, and it’s safe to say this has truly been one of the biggest highlights of my career! I was originally assigned as a Non-Performer member and a musician in the ensemble, but by some miracle (half-way through the workshop), I was informed that an a spot opened up to allow me to participate as a Performer! I got to conduct “Old Wine in New Bottles” by: Gordon Jacob!

Nearly every second I was there, it was pure joy! I was completely overwhelmed by the endless amount of a musicianship, authenticity, and community that every aspect of this experience has outputted. The faculty, graduate staff, musicians, and participants were a pleasure to work with, and made me enjoy life so much more than I could ever imagine

I am so grateful to have to sheer amount of luck that I have had in my life time. This collegium has again lit a fire under me and assured me that I chose the correct and best career path. I love music. “You’ll never walk alone” GMG!💚🦅 taken in UNT College of Music by @trombone_joan

Here’s another video of me conducting. Made an arrangement of “Elsa’s Procession to the Cathedral” for my class. If you know me, this is one of my favorite pieces, so safe to say, this was awesome. In other news, I passed my CPE jury for Trombone, so thank god for that. Until the next opportunity!

Here’s me in class conducting an excerpt from Carmina Burana (Uf Dem Anger). I love to conduct and this class definitely solidifies that. Let me know what you think! And thanks a lot to @hannahnweller for insightful feedback and extraordinary teaching, you deserve credit where credit is due.

I know a life update for this page is long over due so hopefully I get to that soon. The more we get closer to the end of the semester, the busier and busier I’m getting🫠, but I’m ok! Long story short, I’m still alive!

Also Sprach Zarathustra excerpt

I’ve been working on this and dusting it off for UNT, I’ve made a lot of progress this past week or so on it especially with range and timing. All tips are appreciated tho :)
