Happy finals week! Let’s meet the rest of the Mellos! Up next, give it up for Finley Arreola! Finley is a 20 year old junior at UCSB, double majoring in history and philosophy, and they’re planning to go into law!!! 📚 Their primary instrument is French Horn, and they’re planning previously marched Gold 23-24 📯 Finley chose the Troopers because they love the show design and culture! Their favorite video game/ movie soundtrack is Howls Moving Castle and an interesting fact about them is that they can tame birds and have tamed a baby falcon! 🐣 We love the support youve given us, and we can’t wait to hear those cheers in Lucas Oil! Please welcome, Finley! by @troopersmellos

With less than one week until San Antonio, we figured it was time to introduce a Texas native! Please welcome Anthony Zaino! Anthony is an 18 year old senior at Allen High School, and plans to attend UNT for Music Education 🎺 He plays the French Horn and has 4 years of high school experience, plus he spent the past year with us 🤠 Anthony chose the Troopers because he met so many great people last summer and had a lot of fun touring the country at the highest standard of performance! The show design is really fun, and he also liked being a cowboy bomb, baby 😏 An interesting fact about Anthony is his family owns a really nice Thai food restaurant that he bartends at! His favorite bus snack is Cheezits, he would go through a box of them a day if he could afford it. We really appreciate the love and support given to the troop Mellos over the past couple of weeks. We’re ready to stay on fire all throughout this week and kill it at San Antonio! Please help us welcome back Anthony “Eeyore” Zaino! by @troopersmellos

We have birthday twins today, and we couldn’t let the day go by without wishing the other a happy birthday and a very special member intro! Please welcome to stage, Leo Weeks III! Leo is 18 years old and wants to go to school for music performance and production! His primary instrument is oboe and saxophone, and he matched previously with Crossmen in 25 🦴 Leo chose the Troopers because the show design is amazing as well as the hats 🤠 His favorite movie soundtracks are HTTYD and Whiplash, and his interesting fact is he is sure no one can compete with his whistling! 🐉 We wish both our members a very happy birthday and we can’t wait to surprise you all with our production later this week. Please welcome to the crew, Leo Weeks! by @troopersmellos

We are super excited for our next Mello Monday intro! Today, we are introducing one of our vets, Riley Michael! Riley is 19 years old from Brazil, Indiana and wants to become an electrician! His primary instrument is French horn, and he has lots of musical experience including 5 years of high school marching band experience and 2 years here with us at the Troopers! 🤠 His favorite bus snack is nerds gummy clusters and a fun fact about him is that he cannot swim! 🏊‍♂️ He chose Troopers originally because of the high school connections he had, but he keeps coming back for the culture, shows, and some amazing Mello parts! 📯 Less than 2 weeks until spring training starts, comment down below who’s excited to start! I know we are! Please welcome Riley “Meatball Sub” Michael! by @troopersmellos

After an electric May camp, we figured it was high time we introduced our other section leader, Atticus Ence! Atticus is a 19 year old college freshman from Utah studying music performance 📯 His primary instrument is French Horn, although he has a lot of varied musical experience including marching with us last year, being in winter guard, and being a performer and drum major from 2022-2024 💂‍♂️ His response to favorite cuisine/dish is brisket, he’s been really been getting into smoking meats and brisket has so far been his favorite 🐖 An interesting fact is about Atticus is that he plays Pokémon competitively! He chose troopers because his band director marched here in 2009 and he loved it, then Atticus marched in 25 and loved it so here he is! We hope you will see us on tour this summer! Things are ramping up, and we couldn’t be more excited to start spring training! Please welcome Atticus “The Viking” Ence! by @troopersmellos

Happy Mello Monday! With a week until May Camp, we figured it was time to start showcasing our 2026 mellos, starting with one of our fabulous section leaders, Anabelle Cordero! Anabelle is a 20 year old sophomore at Campbellsville University in Kentucky (Go Tigers 🐯), and she is majoring in Vocal Music Education 🎤 Her primary instrument is her voice, although she had been playing trumpet for most of her musical career 🎺 She has lots of musical experience including 6 years of marching band, 4 years of winter guard, 2 years of indoor winds (with a WGI finalist title!), and a year of indoor percussion Her favorite cuisine/dish is Empanadas straight from her Puerto Rican mom’s kitchen! (25 vets know what’s up!) A fun fact about her is she can sing in over 7 languages!! 🗣️ She chose the Troopers because she wanted to be in a World Class ensemble with a great environment (She clearly chose the best!) 🤠 We are so excited to get started with our season, and we hope you can be there to join us! Please welcome, Anabelle “Songbird” Cordero! by @troopersmellos

Happy Mello Monday Troop Mello Fans! We've reached our final intro of the season and we've saved a great one to wrap up the 2025 intros. Meet Atticus Ence!! Atticus is 18 years old and is from Riverton, Utah. He is a recent graduate of Riverton High School, and in the fall is planning to attend Snow University to study Music ❄️🎶 His primary instrument is Horn 📯 Atticus has marched 1 year of high school marching band, and did 1 year of winter guard where he spun rifle!! Atticus thinks the most underrated video game soundtrack of all time is jedi fallen order, and his favorite bus snack is gummie worms 🌟🪱 He chose Troopers because his band director marched Troopers in 2009 (shout out Western Side Story) and loved his time here, so Atticus decided to audition here 🤠 We are approaching finals rapidly, so if you haven't seen Troopers live in 2025, come see us soon! Please give a warm welcome to Atticus "Viking" Ence 🧔🌅 by @troopersmellos
