The white top had to be cut so this beautiful Alocasia Okinawa could stay alive. I’ve seen people throw this part away... but I couldn’t! 🥹
I am keeping it in a vase because it’s so pretty, but also who knows... maybe it’ll surprise me with a little green from the bottom part?!

Just brought home this Jacklyn Aurea, and couldn’t resist checking the roots straight away...They actually looked ok, except for a small patch of rot just in the middle (urgh!). I decided to leave it... Maybe a questionable decision, let’s see🤞Then into my favourite semi-hydro mix she goes!

I capture it, shrink it to just a few centimeters, and refine the details before turning it into something I can wear. Now with a matching bracelet.
Earrings only or full set?

It’s pretty amazing how Anthuriums size up with every repotting! 😍

Uh oh, another Alocasia doing the same thing… 3 leaves, and no green. Went from “OMG, so pretty!” to “wait, we have a problem” real quick 🙃

There’s something hiding in my beautiful Warocqueanum…my little botanical obsession doesn’t stop at collecting leaves 😅
Would you wear your favourite plant?

Another little uninvited guest appeared in one of my pots… My husband complained, asking why I would keep this ugly thing inside my beautiful cabinet 🙄
Duh?! Look at the tiny flowers!
Apparently, this was not an acceptable reason…🤣
So… would you keep it or kill it?

I have a weakness for plants that are a little bit too much 🤣 the colours, the patterns, all those little details…I love this begonia!

I got to make my own orchid composition and I loved it! I used Leca, pon and sphagnum, then added a taller plant at the back and a smaller one in front with a piece of wood (It’s such a simple thing but it really changes the look!) Tbh, I think the beautiful ceramic pot from Jingdezhen does half the work 😍

If you want to make your own, you can check out the Phalaenopsis Workshop @fareastflora

My beautiful Philo Gloriosum Tricolor has been asking for a bigger pot for a while. She grows sideways, takes up a huge amount of space, and gets bigger every time I repot her! I guess we’re doing this again.

New soil day!
Everything opened, divided and organised into its little boxes. Why is this so satisfying?
