HFBB003: @2peng.uk - ‘All Nighter’

Brighton duo 2Peng (@tropicalsecta & @dj.gash) co-founders of @160btn - blend hardcore, jungle and 160-driven sounds with a clear nod to old skool rave culture.

Having cut their teeth in the free party scene, they built their reputation playing underground raves before naturally progressing onto club and festival stages. Their sound draws from a wide palette of UK dance music, with influences spanning grime, ‘90s drum & bass and jungle, all channelled into high-energy, forward-facing sets and productions.

With an EP released on Hardcore Energy and cuts across multiple labels, 2Peng continue to build momentum. This year sees a strong focus on original music, alongside a steady stream of free downloads, further cementing their presence within the new wave of UK underground artists.

“All nighter is for the party people, written straight after a rave. From the party for the party”

Available via our Bandcamp and on all platforms as part of our recent HFBB003 track drop (w/ @sweetly.mcr @simmo.etc @alfiegrieve @jakeohealy @tallboy.josh)

@junglesyndicate Weekender - what can we say?

What a beautiful location, excellent production all round and an amazing selection of underground rave music!

The music was inspiring, with sets ranging from old school breakbeat hardcore like @2_bad_mice , to modern jungle from the likes of @napes_uk @tobyross_ and @nectax , to hardcore from @thrasher_prspct and the @prspctrecordings lot.

A huge thanks to JS for the opportunity, and @hardcoreenergy for the support and inclusion on their takeover - and to everyone who turned up to the set! We played loads of our own original tracks and bootlegs, and it was one of those sets where everything just seemed to work well. It was so great to see a new independent grassroots festival do so well - long live Jungle Syndicate Weekender! by @tropicalselecta

Words can’t describe how much fun @balterfestival was this year! 2 of my favourite sets. Testing out loads of new music, and such a great response! Lots of footage to go through but here’s a peak from my set on @offmenutrecords Saturday 🔥

This Saturday we’re supporting @_dwarde for the @volksnightclub FREE ENTRY terrace party, and next weekend we’re at @quarters.brighton b2b @jungalicemusic supporting the legendary @4amkrulondon for a SOLD OUT show ‼️ by @tropicalselecta

What an honour to be asked back to support 4am Kru - and our first ever b2b with Jungalice, and first set at Quarters!

Not only did we write a new intro track specifically for the set, we also played a ton of original 2Peng tracks 🔥

Definitely up for another b2b - that was amazing fun - and a massive thanks to @j_trubz for recommending us! by @tropicalselecta
