What an amazing experience it was to be a part of Punk Love! I feel so grateful to have my art up on the wall next to all of the amazing artists there, such a wonderful community💓 Having my work selected for this show felt like a important milestone for me, this was my first show outside of any school environment that I applied for and got selected all on my own. I’m really glad I finally broke the seal and I’m looking forward to what the future might have in store ! taken in Greater Denton Arts Council by @trose.art

“Growing/apart” embodies what it means to drift away from earlier versions of yourself as you move through life. The tension created by the string extends across the space like memories stretched between different moments in time. These lines pull at both ends, connecting who you once were to who you are in the process of becoming. The physical strain held in the installation reflects the emotional pressure of change, where growth is both necessary and uncomfortable. The sharp and deliberate lines suggest that even as we move forward, the past continues to press against us, shaping our sense of identity. Through this work, I question whether we ever fully separate from our earlier selves or if those versions stay with us, quietly influencing the paths we choose and the person we eventually become. by @trose.art

Wow, what an amazing moment for everyone involved in Electric! Thank you to everyone who came out to support me and see all these wonderful works of art 💓 I’m so glad to be apart of something like this!

STARING AT THE SUN, 2025

Foam, epoxy, acrylic enamel paint, wire, solar lighting

We’ve all been told at least once not to stare directly at the sun. Staring at the Sun plays with that familiar warning, reimagining it as an invitation to look more closely at what we often overlook — the powerful, the radiant, and the essential.

Sunlight brings life to our planet. It helps flowers grow and ecosystems thrive. In this piece, I experiment with that energy, creating a surreal interpretation of the sun’s power. The work blends a sense of childlike wonder with a wacky postmodern twist, inviting viewers to reconsider the line between danger and beauty, curiosity and caution. taken in Greater Denton Arts Council by @trose.art
