Most of you know I love the theater. But you might not know that I also love fashion. This exhibit at the #griffinscienceandindustymusuem puts together the best of both worlds. #PaulTazewell is the brilliant costume designer of such shows as Hamilton, Wicked, and West Side Story among others. Narrated by Tazewell, the exhibit gives us a glimpse into his world. A small but powerful production, it is at the museum until September 7. And speaking of textiles, I will be having a fabric sale at great prices on August 28th & 29th. Let your friends know! Contact me if you’re interested! taken in Griffin Museum of Science and Industry by @trotskynoreen

A wonderful weekend @Ranger_Ink with @dinawakley. A lot was done with a lot of fun. Old friends, new friends, lots of art. Here you’ll see some of my attempts, which I should really preempt! My bears need work, and I wasn’t feeling the birds. The birds here are from Dina’s online bird class a month or two ago. Great time! by @trotskynoreen

Spent a great weekend in Packer country. Neenah has a glass museum, a great library on the waterfront, and several parks. Started off in Neenah for two great classes with @dinawakley. Not showing any of my art yet, not totally finished. Then headed up to Green Bay where it was Packer Family Night & my hotel was right next door to the stadium🙄Visited with my college roommate & went to the @gbbotanicalgarden which was beautiful. Excellent kids area- one of the best I’ve seen in Botanical Gardens. 1. Bergstrom-Mahler Museum of Glass- Spectacular!
2. Ms. Dina Wakley- the best!
3. GB Botanical Gardens.

A few years ago my sister & I decided no more birthday gifts & that we’d pick a day to spend together & celebrate our May birthdays. This year we went for spa services & then had a lovely tea at @lhchicago. It was a beautiful day to celebrate. by @trotskynoreen

Two weekends of some art:
1. Prompt was cluster. 2. Prompt was collage 3. A tag 4. Journal page 5. Dyed a lot of fabric for a journal. In #2, the sheer fabric with the rose came off a bolt of fabric that my mom had. It’s at least 40-50 years old & I never saw anything made with it. 😂 So, if anyone needs any….. by @trotskynoreen

Three projects from #BBBASH. First pic is messy tags, second is scraps, third is collage (to be made into tags). Fun time! Four more to be completed hopefully this week. 🤞🏻 by @trotskynoreen
