Designed in a moment when WFH became the norm, highlighting the importance of adaptable spaces for modern life. The hidden office nook in this Uptown condo's common space allows for a dedicated work area that can be tucked away when not in use.

Dining and Kitchen area.

Art truly pulls spaces together, so here is a small story behind this large piece.
This Roberta Harris mixed media was featured in “The Crescent Collection II: a Celebration of Texas artists” exhibit series that started as part of the opening of the Crescent’s Marketing center in 1985 and thought to be the first exhibition that featured exclusively Texan artists at that time.

A young woman, then working at The Crescent, bought this piece, and it lived in her home in Dallas up till 2021 when she moved out of state and decided to part with it. That is how it came to our hands at the time when we furnished this special 1980s condo in Uptown Dallas.

Entry view to the living room. What made us fall in love with this little Tudor home.

Thinking a lot about this home’s renovation and restoration, as it was the first where we fully restored all its 100 year old wood windows back in 2018. Learned a lot since then, but it’s still something we continue to do whenever possible.

Phone nooks were popular between the 1920s to 1950s when homes started increasingly adding in phone lines. Always found in a home’s convenient central location and designed to hold and hide install cables.

Love keeping little nudges of a home’s history like in this 1920s cute Tudor. by @trotstudio

Lived in spaces that not only honor the character of the home’s original architectural details, but are filled with a mix of craft, art, design and vintage pieces. by @trotstudio
