Colorado albeit short/ quick worked out OK. Low water, low flows and clear ...i fished early mindful of temps, found some browns working the fast riffles with long leader hopper droppers size 14 / 16 blowtorch bringing fish to the net mostly. One fine day ill get right w this beautiful state!

Ended my 5 week NM roadtrip in the Minnesota driftless, caught the last warm days of fall and a few buttery golden browns on this storied stream.
