**Long Post**

Most people don’t have the opportunity to be close to greatness.
Most people wish for things with no clear plan or finish line in sight.
For me, I had an older brother who reached and surpassed the pinnacle of achievements at a very early age. I was 10yrs old in 1987 when my brother won the first Super Bowl where the unthinkable happened. The first black quarterback, Doug Williams, led the Washington Redskins to victory.
What most do NOT know is that in 1987, young black athletes with brains were not popular. Keiron turned down scholarships to EVERY Division 1 school in the country to go to Brown University where sports was NOT the deal of the day. He did more than perform..he excelled in an era where people like him were a “1-trick pony” He broke records as a defensive back when he grew up playing a wide receiver and quarterback in PAL and High School. A 4 sport varsity athlete in Football, Basketball, Baseball, and Lacrosse. Today if you go to a Brown Football game, #1 on your program is still Keiron Bigby.

When you see me, you realize that we stand on the shoulders of our families. Our parents put the unstoppable spirit into our hearts. My brother was the first to not allow anyone’s perception of his intelligence and athletic ability to stop him. I just followed suit. From winning the Super Bowl as a 5’11 WR to going to the NFL expansion team in Spain and winning the Super Bowl there as a quarterback and then coming back to try out for the NBA and embarrassing some of your favorite players all over the country just to get hated on because he was a “football player”

He went on to use the winning and unstoppable spirit to hold leadership positions in places like Target and Home Depot to name a few.

No matter the accolades, awards, recognition, and acclaim, “KB” always has made himself accessible for any and everyone who wants or needs. Y’all go wish my brother @11722mb a happy 60th. He’s the definition of taking a chance on yourself and following through in extraordinary fashion! by @troybigs

My guys always told me I never smile.
I guess we are starting the year by proving people wrong.
Only took me about 3 decades to finally get my HS crush, but who’s counting.
We’re here now.

We are either the dynamic duo, or the most unserious duo you’ll ever meet at a happy hour 😂😂
In all seriousness…one guy in a turtleneck matching the loafers(driving loafers) and one guy in a silk bandana as a neck scarf not blocking any wind…show up at a bar..
You know it’s going to be a time 🤣🤣

One thing is for sure about life.
Change is a constant, and time waits for no one.
Learned some valuable lessons and some new things about myself in 2024.
I’ve never been one for resolutions but to start this year, I’m going to do better about prioritizing myself and my loved ones.
That’s all.
Make these moments count.
Happy New Year
