There’s something so beautiful about getting to just be with each other again. 🤍

This past week without the kids here has given us a kind of quality time we didn’t realize we were craving. Not because we don’t love our babies (because we miss them like crazy and our home definitely feels quieter without them), but because we’ve been able to slow down and really pour into us.

We’ve been less tired, more present, more affectionate, and just…together. Existing in the same space, laughing more (though he makes me laugh every day), taking care of our businesses without distractions, enjoying each other’s company, and remembering what it feels like to just be husband and wife.

It’s been nice to have the time to reconnect, to love on each other, and to just be wrapped up in our little world for a while. ❤️

This is a reminder that our marriage deserves intentional time too. by @truefacechar

The fact that I have to travel an hour and a half to get Cava is a bit much. Also, work was kicking my behind last week, but I’m locked in this week (the power of recovery). I’ve been limiting my time screentime lately, setting my phone to FOCUS/WORK/DND. This has been giving me time to focus on my business plan. I don’t want to announce anything until I know for sure that everything is legit. I’m super excited about it though. The notebooks I’m using getting filled, the ideas popping up in the middle of my work day, the Pinterest mood boards. Ugh! Baking is truly my passion and I want to actually start baking pastries every Saturday (night), early Sunday morning. I think I’ll make my next post some inspiration just for the good of it. 🤎 by @truefacechar
