Forever grateful to chef @jonathanmaristela and @tannaphatp for bringing me to @yokospdx so many years ago! Such a sweet little no frills spot. I never thought saba could be good until I had it here and now I always get a little sashimi plate of it. They also make my absolute fave tempura in town. The tempura dip is so special and flavorful I don't even need to get sushi to feel satisfied here! 🍤 but I do, obviously...love the albacore belly when they have it. taken in Yoko's Japanese Restaurant & Sushi Bar by @trufflefrites

One of my faaaaaave seasonal dishes in town -- the tempura asparagus with shrimp with the incred coconut-pork-peanut-shallot-garlic dressing @paadeepdx. I like getting the dressing on the side and dipping to keep each bite crunchy. 🍤 taken in Paadee by @trufflefrites

How exciting to finally make it to the neewwww @sureshotburger!! What a great space! Huuuuuge and a perfectly nostalgic burger spot -- reminds me of going to McD in the early 90s. It's hard to believe there's a real restaurant now since we've been eating here since the cart was in Beaverton...somehow 5 years ago?! Food is as good as ever and love the trays and those beautiful custom cups! 💕 by @trufflefrites

My photo does not do this place justice bc @bbangpdx is easily one of the best new openings in PDX. The ebi sando (extra tartar sauce) and fried chicken (hot honey) are now some of my fave bites in all of PDX. The shrimp is pluuump, juicy, perfectly seasoned. The chicken is everything I want in a fried chicken with the lightest crispy cragglies that stay crunchy the entire meal. Love the bulgogi burger and fries too. Such a fun meal with @chica_lb and @angelyudizon 💕 by @trufflefrites

Love the recent influx of new seafood in PDX lately. So happy to try the beautiful dishes at @with__oscar! Everything about this place is so much of what I'm looking for here -- beautiful minimalist space, simple but intentional food and wine, attention to detail, etc. The current menu of tuna "swan oyster depot style", mussels escabeche, scallop tostada...just everything I want right now! Wine list is spectacular✨ and really enjoyed our nicely chilled beaujolais, perfect summer vibes.🍷 Such a wonderful night out with @jihaekwon_ 💕 by @trufflefrites

After our shio pan tasting @ponto.pdx we double ordered the honey garlic butter cream cheese and the mentaiko. THE MENTAIKO is mentaiko dreamzzzz come true. So savory and fatty and luscious in the best way and also the only shio pan flavor we had that actually had a crispy buttery bottom. So so so good! Def one of my fave pastries ever now. #doubleorderstatus™ by @trufflefrites

When you order an entire half tray of fried squid from @s0u_ss bc you just have to try it. No regrets! So so good. We need them back on the west side tho! 🙏🏼 by @trufflefrites
