two years of marriage — 🤍🤍🤍

at times it feels like it’s been just a few weeks, and others it feels like a lifetime ago. to be able to walk together in every area of life is the biggest blessing. you’re the best business partner and friend. you’re the best barista (anyone who hasn’t tried a Grady latte is missing out). you’re the best dog dad. but above it all, you’re the best husband in the world. thank you for always spending the time to see me, to love me, to never once tell me to be anything other than who I am.

I’ll never forget how perfect this day was with our family and friends. Some highlights from the best day of our lives 🤍🪩🐎

It took me 2 months to go through and be able to select a few photos that would begin to summarize our wedding day. @clarkbrewer and team made all of our dreams come true. I will never not cry looking back on these!!!

My dad drove me to the aisle in Grady’s family’s ’95 Defender. As we walked down the aisle, I tried to look at everyone and soak it all in. Getting married on Grady’s childhood best friend’s ranch as the sun was setting over the hills in Los Alamos — I was overwhelmed by how perfect it was. It’s as if there weren’t any sounds, other than an occasional ‘moooo’ from the distance. The cows and horses grazed in a field behind Grady as I was saying my vows - I had never seen something so beautiful.

Our ceremony will always be my favorite part of our wedding. All throughout the planning process, I kept coming back to how special it was to be able to share our love for each other and vow our lives together in front of our closest family and friends. It was something that was so out of our comfort zones (especially the moment I realized at the altar that I in fact did NOT have my vow book), but we are so glad we did it. We also had everyone give well wishes and blessings as they passed around our rings one at a time, giving me and Grady 10 minutes to just look at everyone and be present.

The rest of the night we laughed, Grady and I performed our first dance (which we made up in our backyard a week before after stumbling across an iconic video of John Travolta from Saturday Night Fever), ate the absolute best BBQ from @prieditebarbecue, and had a disco party in the barn. It was perfect - in such an overwhelming way that I am so glad we are done planning a wedding and can now just look at the photos and videos for the rest of our lives 😂 Love you forever @1080grady taken in Los Alamos, California by @truly.brooke

About a year ago, we got an email from the team at RH asking to meet about bringing @settlersclub to their catalog. When I saw the email, I told Grady not to get his hopes up because it was probably spam. As a small, SMALL business operating solely out of our garage in Santa Barbara, I couldn’t wrap my head around the idea that RH had noticed us, let alone wanted to work together.

I probably walked through the old Fashion Island RH more than 100x as a kid, memorizing every piece in every room. It was always my destination when I went to the mall, even though I was literally 10 and had noooo business being there. And today, we got to walk into the flagship store in Newport Beach and see *our* art on the walls. Not only was our art chosen out of so many stunning pieces, but we also made multiple pages of the RH magazine. Tears filled my eyes thinking of all the time @1080grady and I spent dreaming this up—packing orders in our garage, perfecting samples, and pouring our hearts into creating these pieces we’re so proud of.

It still feels surreal, but what an amazing way to kick off the next chapter of @settlersclub 🤍 So grateful for the wonderful RH team for their support, and my business partner/life partner @1080grady for helping make this happen.
