Without faith, it is impossible to please You and with our faith we must earnestly seek You (Heb 11:6). Your character is what we can place our confidence in for assurance and Your faithfulness has proven to be trustworthy. I pray that we can see the world and our circumstances through the lens of faith rather than our fears. #Faith #Luke18 #FollowJesus by @trulydoctortaylor

The “Journey of Yes” by Brenda Palmer
The Lord had me reading this book at the perfect time! Reminded that trusting God through different seasons hinges on His Promises and that each obedient “yes” is an invitation to deeper fellowship with Him.

A few takeaways from this book:
• The opposite of trusting the Lord with all my heart is leaning on my own understanding. The concerns revealed in our questions sometimes indicate that we are scrambling to gain our own understanding instead of trusting the Lord.
• Fear deceives you into thinking that disobedience is safer than the place. God is calling you to.
• Is God enough? Are we letting the desires of our heart crowd out the devotion we should be giving to God
• Sometimes we get caught up in diluting God‘s instruction with human logic from a limited perspective

“Love bears all things [regardless of what comes], believes all things [looking for the best in each one], hopes all things [remaining steadfast during difficult times], endures all things [without weakening].” - 1 Corinthians 13:7 [AMP]

Trust in the Lord’s faithfulness to give you direction about your life. His Word never fails for those who trusts in Him 🙏🏽 by @trulydoctortaylor

This book is such a game changer! It made me rethink my perspective of marriage through the lens of sanctification.

• “If loving someone who is so different from you seems impossible, how can we love God?”
• “As our partners and their weaknesses become more familiar to us, respect becomes harder to give. You have to choose to walk in the discipline of showing respect. Giving respect is an obligation, not a favor - birthed in the understanding of God’s good grace. Do I have the same compassion for his weaknesses as Christ does?”
• “Marriage is an entry way to sanctification. Am I gravitating towards honesty and openness that leads to change? Is my desire to be accepted by my spouse greater than my desire to become more like Christ?”

Also, his book “Married Sex” with Debra Fileta was an amazing read! Highly recommended for married couples to dive into.

God is always speaking, but we have to choose to listen, obey and remove the distractions crowding our lives…Whoever has ears, let them hear. by @trulydoctortaylor

This book was such a great read and helped me reorganize my perspective around what it means to rest and abide.

•What’s underneath a thriving vine? A strong well built Trellis, a structure. A trellis symbolizes practices and disciplines. The trellis is not for the vine to stand up straight, but to make room for the vine to bear fruit.
•Make Room for the following spiritual disciplines of -1) 𝙎𝙞𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙎𝙤𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚 2) 𝙎𝙖𝙗𝙗𝙖𝙩𝙝 3) 𝙎𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙩𝙮 4) 𝙎𝙡𝙤𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙜

“Martha, Martha, you are worried and bothered and anxious about so many things; but only one thing is necessary”- Luke 10:38-42, AMP
•Am I letting the busyness of life overshadow my calling to rest at His feet?
•Am I letting distractions rob me from being present?

A few favorite moments from 2025 🤍 by @trulydoctortaylor

22 Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail.
23 They are new every morning; 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬.
24 I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.”
