T.R.U.S.T. supports Bill 25-0087 because eviction should not mean the immediate loss of everything a household has built.

This is also environmental justice. Communities already burdened by pollution, unsafe housing, transportation inequities, extreme heat, and disinvestment deserve stability—not additional harm through displacement.

Housing justice is environmental justice.

In less than 24 hours, Baltimore City Council will hear Bill 25-0087.

📅 Tuesday, August 25
⏰ 5:15 p.m.
📍 Baltimore City Hall
100 Holliday Street, Room 408

Want to submit testimony? Tap the link in our bio.

Select “25-0087 – Eviction Chattels – Time Period to Reclaim” and choose SUPPORT.

You can also reshare this post to help Baltimore residents find tonight’s action.

Show up. Submit testimony. Share.

🚨 Proud to Partner with APHA 🚨

Through T.R.U.S.T. (Taking Reign of Urban Sustainability & Transformation), I’m excited to support a powerful new national webinar series:

Disability Justice in Action: Reimagining Public Health for Collective Liberation

This 4-part series (April–June) centers the leadership and lived experiences of disabled people especially disabled people of color and challenges us to rethink how public health shows up in our communities.

At T.R.U.S.T., this aligns directly with our mission to advance environmental justice, community engagement, and equitable systems.

📅 First session: April 13 (FREE)
🔗 Register: https://www.pathlms.com/health/courses/127479

I’ll also be hosting follow-up community conversations to bring these ideas home to Baltimore and turn awareness into action.

Let’s learn. Let’s build. Let’s move. 🌱✊🏾

A strong start to our service year. Saint John’s Lodge No. 5 was honored to serve as a financial sponsor for Friendsgiving at The Mill on North, supporting their mission to serve neighbors — especially those impacted by the government shutdown. Our brothers showed up to serve meals, engage with families, and help strengthen community ties.

We’re grateful for this new collaboration with The Mill and look forward to building a lasting partnership with Breadcoin and the event sponsors. The energy is high, the work is meaningful — and this is only the beginning. #SJ5 #SJ5Forever by @trustbaltimore

🌱 Introducing TRUST: Taking Reign of Urban Sustainability & Transformation

TRUST was born from one question — how do we make environmental justice real for our neighborhoods?

From clean air to reliable transit to food access, we’re working to make Baltimore a city where every resident can thrive — no matter their zip code.

Founded by Jarren Williams — a 2025 @younggiftedgreen 40 Under 40 Honoree and Environmental Justice Griot Fellow — TRUST focuses on:
🔸 Transit Equity for Food Access
🔸 Lead-Free and Safe Water
🔸 Community Cleanups and Data Mapping
🔸 Tackling EJ issues via comments, forums and active work

This is more than a project — it’s a movement to rebuild connection, care, and community power.

Follow @trustbaltimore and stay tuned as we roll out our first clean up, trainings , community events, and data stories. #enviromentalJustice #TRUSTBaltimore #FoodAccess #TransitEquity #Baltimore #leadfree #cleanair by @trustbaltimore

✨ Baltimore, this one’s for us.

I’m honored to be named one of Young, Gifted & Green’s Top 40 Under 40 for 2025. This recognition isn’t just about me — it’s about our city, our neighborhoods, and the resilience we carry every day.

That’s why I’ve launched TRUST (Taking Reign of Urban Sustainability & Transformation) — a community initiative dedicated to:
•Healthy food access
•Clean, lead-free water
•Safe air and green spaces
•Youth education and service learning

TRUST is about bringing resources, knowledge, and power directly to the communities most impacted AND making sure Baltimore leads its own solutions.

Follow along as we build this movement together. The work is just beginning. 💪🏾
