Hey! I’m Luci, the human behind Trust In Tails 👋🏼🐾

I’ve always loved animals — growing up surrounded by horses, cats, rabbits, hamsters and more. Helping my mum care for them sparked a lifelong passion, and I knew from a young age I wanted to work with animals… just not as a vet!

After trying a few paths post-school, I finally found my calling in animal care. I completed my Level 2 & 3 in Animal Management and have spent years gaining hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and other pets and I knew this was what I wanted to do.

That’s how Trust In Tails was born! 🐾💚

I walk, care for, and spoil pets when their humans can’t — and I couldn’t be more excited (and yes, a little nervous!) to make this my own business.

I’m determined to give every furry friend the love, attention, and care they deserve — and I can’t wait to meet yours!

Everyone meet Enzo! He’s a 10-month-old Golden and a very silly, good boy 🤪

I’ve been looking after him while his pawrents are away! He loves attacking his tail and shredding everything, so we’ve been giving him cardboard to shred instead 🤣

Shredding is a completely normal behaviour, so rather than stopping it, we can redirect it onto safe things!🤎🐾 by @trustintails

Meet little Luna 🥺🤍

She’s just over 2 months old and absolutely teeny tiny! We’re starting off with puppy visits before slowly transitioning to walks as she gets bigger and more confident.

For now, we’ll be doing some basic training, gentle desensitisation, introducing her to new things and the outside world, and of course LOTS of cuddles 🥰

She’s the cutest little bean and I’m so excited to watch her grow! 🐾 by @trustintails

Little me would’ve never guessed I’d be building my dream business working with animals🥺

Found these photos of me hanging out with a pup I met at a holiday cottage when I was little. The love for dogs clearly started young!
And now I get to spend my days looking after them 🤎 taken in Newmarket, Suffolk, United Kingdom by @trustintails

Meet Harry!
He is a squirrel, stick & zoomie addicted good boy 🤪 He usually joins Otis on group walks every week!
His listening ears aren’t the best 🤣 so he stays on a @goldenunleashedofficial longline for a bit of extra security while he’s out exploring! 🤎

A little life & business update! 🐾

I’ve been a little quiet on here lately because I’ve been busy moving to Newmarket! Between looking after my lovely clients and house sits, it’s been a hectic few weeks.

For the foreseeable future, I’ll be based in Newmarket, while still offering walks and pet care in Cambridge on Mondays, Tuesdays & Fridays, with Wednesdays & Thursdays in Newmarket.

I’m so excited to explore a new area with Minty and (hopefully!) meet some new furry friends along the way. 🤎 taken in Newmarket, Suffolk, United Kingdom by @trustintails

My lovely furry clients are here to remind you to keep hydrated during summer! 🌞💧

A little reminder for your pups too – try to avoid letting them gulp down large amounts of water straight after vigorous exercise or while they’re still heavily panting. Drinking too quickly can cause them to swallow a lot of air, which may increase the risk of bloat in some dogs.

Instead, offer small amounts of water little and often during exercise, then let them have a proper drink once they’ve had a chance to cool down. 🥵🤎 taken in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire by @trustintails

Fully booked for overnight pet sitting until September 🌞

I honestly can’t put into words how grateful I am for the response to Trust In Tails over the last 3 months. I’ve loved every minute of getting to know so many different animals, and I’m so appreciative of everyone who’s trusted me with their pets. It means the world!

For summer, I still have limited weekly dog walking spaces available. If you’re looking for regular walkies, feel free to drop me a message and we can get your pup booked in 🐾🤎
