Snagged a dinner for two on the same day when it opened up after years of never getting a spot.

Didn’t disappoint.

We had like 5 of those tiny little starters but the standouts were the
Maitake Porridge - Umami Overload
Pig Ears - Amazing texture
Duck Heart, Tacos were good but not special.
Steak Frites was abit underwhelming.

For the entrees and mains -
Lamb Chops were wonderful.
Flat Iron was amazing.
Cube Roll was spectacular.

Split over the marrow bun, I didn’t like it, wife loved it.

Dessert was a lava cake that came with a really interesting Smokey ice cream as well as some marshmallow and tiny treats.

100% would go back if we can get a goddamn reservation. Patrick and his crew made the experience amazing.

we had a burger each and was impressed by the juicy pork patty for the price point. we decided to try the green curry burger and it became our favourite! the green curry spices infused into the patty instead of just a sauce drizzled over made a difference. definitely worth a try if you’re in the Jalan Permas area!

we’ll be back to try the lab moo burger!!

One of our all-time fave spots strikes again! Last week’s specials were next level. The beef carpaccio? Total BOMB DIGGITY. Melt-in-your-mouth beef with truffle, egg, and parmesan? Chef’s kiss without with extra tongue. The paella? Moist, loaded, and legendary—prawns, squid, mussels oh my! There was more seafood than rice, and yep, we shamelessly polished off every single grain.

Of course, we couldn’t skip our usuals: the seafood basket (crispy perfection), stuffed schiacciata (heavenly), burrata (creamy dreams), and carbonara (pure comfort in a bowl).

This place just gets us.

TAMBI -went in nov 2023-
we were excited with big expectations from the reviews

1. great service! they were accommodating and made the maggie goreng less spicy for our little one to have.
2. don’t know where the fusion really was, felt displaced in most dishes, feel like there was potential but kinda felt forced tbh
3. briyani with really tough and hard pork rib which we couldn’t bring ourselves to finish

best dish was the Bibimmyeon and the sothi dipping sauce that I still dream about

super unglam but this is an insight into an average working Singaporean's life - of dabao food. today we ate 'a noodle story' and we think it's totally worth the michelin bib gourmand
