Back in the day when Tyron was 7, I used to witness him jump off school buses and try to escape just for attention. His deceased grandmother, Darlene Tyler, approached me when I was a State Trooper working part/time at an emergency room and asked if I could stay in touch. He’ll be 24 August 7 and I didn’t want to wait to let him know how proud I am of his growth and how he not only has gotten better every year, now he FaceTimes me on his own just to say hello and has learned the value of not being a selfish one way type of person as many tend to be desiring gifts and cash aps while offering little in return or exchange. I once told him you could learn a few things about me now as an adult. I’d say it took him until about age 22 to learn last name but when he calls me “his Pop” or “the Goat” and reposts my smallest of moments, it tells me that although I chose to never have children with many women from my past, I actually do have a son or two or three out there. Tyron Thomas is probably #1 son. He took that spot. I can be difficult on loved ones, family and friends based on actions-not words. Im not for play play I once saw a cartoon meme skit say. July 1, 2026, repost of Facebook post from the Tournament Director and Halftime Bar venue page. They pretty much wrote after a short break away from the game for three months that I returned to the game earning second place honors and collected the side pot. Totaling $205; first place took home $275. Have to stay at it like anything else in life. by @truth2121

Feel better soon Katie. Hospitalized since June 4 and can’t return to normal everyday life without a liver replacement. Moments after my arrival, Katie was emotional reading a letter of gratitude she had handwritten to nurses, doctors and staff. Awaiting a liver transplant at age 33 she says puts life into perspective. I wish the University of Pennsylvania’s huge multi-hospital facility was closer and I could visit her more but for now: today was a good day. Prayers lifted that God allows my friend favor to move up on the transport list. by @truth2121

Second place earned me $205 July 1, 2026, (27 players) competing in a Delaware nine ball tournament, and fourth place July 8, 2026, (36 players) didn’t lace my pockets any but fulfilled me with more great poise and experience for what could prove to be a continued productive month and year as I finally begin to soar to long-awaited new heights. by @truth2121

These last few years awaiting a new heart and liver replacement may have removed you from this life in year 45 but you no longer have to suffer through the lonely days and many questions I know you had that said “why me?” I just hope this message reaches someone today who are ungrateful for the little things we often overlook and take for granted. Despite a 15 point loss to Seat Pleasant Maryland, Brazil Hutchinson showed up with stellar defense throughout and scored ten points. It was enough for me to see why he was recruited as one of DC’s finest to compete in the District’s outdoor summer “Goodman League.” I last saw Brazil at a high school game his senior year. Today, he’s about 20 or 21 and still wearing #8 and the only baller on the court in pink basketball sneakers. Those two factors- Kobe’s first ever number and bright kicks- is an indicator of a true baller. by @truth2121

Taryn Cowan didn’t need to do a backwards or front somersault to excite his family and friends at South County High yesterday in Lorton, VA. If you know his story, just for him to turn around like this as his mom, Keisha, praised God and fought back tears, was enough for us to flip in our minds. Today, he’s college-bound and a real serious Play-station gamer. Well worth the drive and time. I gave him a verbal IOU for an end of the month monetary gift. Been over two years since I’ve seen him. Shout out to all of Keisha’s friends who flew in from Florida, Georgia and Arizona to make him smile even harder from his seat. by @truth2121

Nephew Kyrie Anderson had no idea I decided to drive up north to spend all day on a Sunday watching races. I must admit, I was impressed with the heart he showed in placing top three in all three events he participated in. He ran the 400 meters (3rd place metal); 100 meters (3rd place metal) and the 200 meters (2nd place medal) @k_instinct0. He showed me he has dog in him. by @truth2121

There’s probably no such thing as the perfect anything in life. So, like anything else, depending on who you ask, no one man can probably ever be called the perfect husband, perfect coach, perfect dad or perfect friend. But my boy Gerry is one of the best to ever do it @justfndoit if you asked an unbiased me. Known him for about 15 years and if I had to rate a friend turned bro who is clutch if I really had to add up consistency in a friend with a sharpie inch by inch and example by example and not just words, it would be Gerry-AKA “Gerry Neutron” (his brain is sharp). Therefore, for the above reasons mainly, Happy 48th birthday two years before most might wait for a milestone of 50. Take your flowers from me now; for tomorrow isn’t promised to any of us. Morristown Beard’s seventh grader, Allaura Wilson, ran with fierce intensity from start til finish during the MCAC Championships Monday afternoon, pulling off a hat-trick earning three gold medals only one day after running the same three races for her local track club.
Allaura didn’t use I’m too tired as an excuse. In fact, she ran 12.98 in the 100-meters Monday, which was an improvement from the 13.09 effort she ran less than 24 hours earlier at the Plainfield Tsunami Youth Invitational on Sunday for her local track club, Speed-skills. On Sunday, Allaura ran a 59.87 in the 400-meters and a 103.38 in the same race a day later. No excuses. Most can’t stand to take to the line for the immense pressure involved in running one time around a track. Long story short, it all seems to be coming together for the soft-spoken middle schooler who seemingly is allowing her legs to do most of her talking, as she’s racking up the hardware in 2026 and coming for everything the remaining outdoor season has to offer. Keep up the great work little niece. Success seems to be shifting your way. by @truth2121
