🩺🩷Meet Our Founders🩷🩺

Nia Rolle, Co-Founder of the National Society of Black Women in Medicine (NSBWM), is a passionate Chemistry Health Professions student at Delaware State University. She aims to attend medical school and pursue careers as both a dermatologist and cosmetic chemist. Nia also serves as the Treasurer for the Alliance of Minority Participation (AMP). Her dedication to NSBWM’s mission stems from a commitment to increasing representation and advocating for women of color in the medical field.

Atiya Bey, Co-Founder of the National Society of Black Women in Medicine (NSBWM), is a dedicated Psychology student at Delaware State University with aspirations of becoming a Cognitive Neuroscientist. She previously served as Ms. Psychology, where she represented and advocated for students in the department. In addition to her studies, Atiya interns as a Research Assistant and mentors undergraduate students. Her deep commitment to helping others drives her passion for Neuroscience.

Mecca Jackson, Co-Founder of the National Society of Black Women in Medicine (NSBWM), is a driven student-athlete at Delaware State University, majoring in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. With aspirations of attending medical school to become a dermatologist, Mecca is also an active member of FORCE, a Christian-led organization. Though new to DSU, she is proud to co-lead NSBWM in creating a supportive and empowering space for Black women to thrive in medicine.

Tryanna Prince, Co-Founder of the National Society of Black Women in Medicine (NSBWM), is a dedicated Public Health student at Delaware State University. She also serves as the Corresponding Secretary for Brothers in Power, Vice President of G.I.V.E., and Chapter Membership Chair for the DSU Chapter of the National Marrow Donor Program. Her leadership and commitment to equity and service drive NSBWM’s mission to support Black women in medicine.

Together, they aim to be a strong voice in the community, inspiring and empowering Black women in medicine. The founders are committed to ensuring that every member of NSBWM has a positive, rewarding experience, fostering growth and excellence in the field. by @tryannaprince

A new chapter has entered the story.

The Esther Funds Foundation is proud to officially welcome the Delaware State University Chapter to our national movement to prevent college dropouts and support students on their journey to graduation.

Founded by Tryanna Price, who also serves as Miss Esther Funds University, this chapter will serve as a hub of service, leadership, and impact on the DSU campus.

Officially Chartered: March 2, 2026

From community service to student support initiatives, the EFF-DSU chapter is committed to making sure no student feels alone in their journey to finish college.

The Esther Funds Foundation, in collaboration with the EFF National Royal Court, Miss Esther Funds University, Delaware State University Village Apartments, RA Kayla, and HBCU Inc., presents the EFF Project SNAP Emergency Drive, a national awareness and support initiative 💜🤍

The collection period will take place from November 6–18, with donation bins located at each RA desk in the University Village Apartment lobbies. Students are encouraged to donate non-perishable groceries, hygiene items, and grocery gift cards to support college students in need.

The distribution and tabling period will run from November 19–30 in the MLK Student Center, with more details coming soon!

Students who are not University Village residents can contact Tryanna Prince or RA Kayla West to arrange a direct donation.

Together, this collaboration strives to provide more than food by supporting students, promoting community care, and ensuring that every future is fulfilled 💜🫂

To every single person who voted, shared my posts, encouraged me, or believed in what I stand for, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your support has kept me grounded and reminded me why I started this in the first place.
