DOWNTOWN HEAT / 2.5m x 2.5m acrylic on board

Painted in the spicy core of Christchurch city for @flarestreetartfestival 🔥 this project is one of my favourites so far, oozing with bright colour and bold lines, I tried my best to capture the attention of a far away bystander. Seats for Davie Street

In May, I had the opportunity to paint on some outdoor furniture in Davie Street Village. Bright and colourful, just like the community it’s in! 🏳️‍🌈

I really enjoyed designing this piece for a 3D surface. I used my reference image a bit but mostly just freehanded this entire project, made the linework and fluidity a bit easier!

The Swamp

* 1 year ago * I painted these two large shipping containers for the Mukařov Town in Czech Republic! Crazy it’s been a year, this was my largest piece to date until my recent mural for the Astro Artist Festival took the cake!

This mural sparked a mini mural festival in the town of Mukařov which will now be a reoccurring art event every year! How good!

Fun one.

Introducing my friend @trystan.cutts to the world of analog collage.
Always so curious to see what people do and how they approach this particular medium. It can be a bit overwhelming at first, but once you find your groove and lock in then you start building these surreal worlds with your own imagination. Kinda amazing if you ask me 🤷🏻‍♂️

“Mine!”

Mural in Collingwood, ON for @altitudevbc

Collingwood is a calm little down on the lakefront of Georgian Bay, Ontario. This now painted container is in Sunset Point Beach Park, right next to the beach!

It was time well spent here, the park was very busy, with lots of active summer camps and questions from the youngins haha so many questions.

Got me thinking to do some paint by number piece ..

Cross sectional Cabbagetown

3’ x 7’ / Acrylic on wood

The design requirement was “something with a cabbage” so I cut it in half. Super fun painting this piece, I’m really happy with how it turned out! Just hoping it lasts some of these nasty Toronto winters! If you’re ever over in Cabbagetown go take a look! 🥬
