If you asked me to plan a wedding in your backyard at your childhood home, I feel pretty confident I could. From gathering stellar vendors in the industry to collaborate, obsessively checking weather 7 days out, to hiring landscapers to procure the perfect scene for photos, buying prop rugs to cover up carpet I didn’t like, to hiding trash and boxes in a shed ( plus more ) that’s just some of what I did to get ready for a photo shoot I had been planning in my brain for months. It made me respect just how much goes into a wedding overall not just florals. I couldn’t have asked for a better day. I had an amazing vendor team work on executing this ( very sentimental and meaningful ) vision with me! I recommend each and every one of them for your wedding or event!

It’s not every day that you get the opportunity to document two weddings for the same couple.

In July, Emma and Ben held a small ceremony in Las Vegas so that her grandmother could attend, and this past weekend they threw the party of all parties with their larger group of family and friends. So much thought, love and care went into both days. It’s clear that Emma and Ben do everything with the fullest of hearts.

I’m still at a loss of words for how special this day was, and my body is still at a loss of water from the humidity and dance floor. But, what a day. What amazing people.

Plus, their family taught me how to play Salad Bowl.

Mr. & Mrs. Bordner 💕 An incredible day for two incredible people!
