Chicago, you surprised me. 👀

Between the river running through the city, the architecture, the trains overhead, and the energy of shit going south at any moment, it almost felt like New York but like in an alternate dimension.

And then there was Lolla. 👀

This year’s lineup was one of the things that brought me here in the first place. Lorde, Charli xcx, Blood Orange, Empire of the Sun… and a weekend that moved between pop, house, EDM, R&B( I’m looking at you Leon Thomas)

Walking through the festival, I started noticing the fashion… obvi… But i saw there was this meeting point between ravewear and streetwear. Tiny shorts, oversized jerseys, bikini tops, big boots, lace, sportswear, color, layers, things that probably shouldn’t work together but just did.

That’s probably what I loved most about the fashion at Lolla. There wasn’t one way to dress for it. Everyone brought a little bit of themselves into the mix. I even got into it a bit with my lace capris and purple shawl (pic 10)👀.

So, ofc, I started taking pictures.

Here are some of the people and looks that caught my eye during my first Lollapalooza. Chicago, you were very good to me. I have a feeling I’ll be back. 🤍

I came to Lollapalooza for music, great outfits, and maybe a little rain. What I didn’t expect was for muddy boots to become one of the biggest characters of the weekend. 😭

Fashion has always been about adaptation. This weekend, that meant rain boots, rolled sweatpants, ponchos and sneakers that slowly disappeared beneath the mud.

I spent the weekend documenting the little moments in between the sets, the outfits that worked with the weather and against it 😳, and stories I collected along the way.

At Tera we’ve always believed fashion is one of the most personal forms of self expression.

It’s never really been about the clothes. It’s about identity. It’s about finding pieces of yourself in the things that inspire you and slowly becoming more comfortable with who you are.

As someone working in corporate, I’ve spent a lot of time feeling like I was living two lives. One version of me sat in meetings and answered emails all day. The other couldn’t stop thinking about creative things that made me feel like… me.

I know I’m not the only one.

There are so many people quietly living that same “double life,” wondering where everyone else is.

That’s what Office Sirens is.

A place where multifaceted people can finally find each other.

Watching a room full of people from finance, tech, marketing, startups, and fashion laugh together after Pilates over a cup of matcha felt like proof that these spaces deserve to exist.

Not because we all have the same careers.

But because we all have lives outside of them.

Thank you to everyone who showed up and helped make our very first Office Sirens feel so special. And a huge thank you to @movewithanj for leading such an incredible class and @vitalproteins for helping us fuel the morning.

This is only the beginning.
