Hey you! 👋 📸We’re Trisha and Modi, the 30-something duo behind this page. We’ve been besties for 12 years, dated for 5, married for 5, and traveling together for 8. Modi’s the guy behind the camera, and I (Trisha) handle everything else for Try Wandering More. If you slide into our DMs, you’re chatting with me (but Modi’s always lurking).👀😂 🌎We’ve explored 21 states and union territories in India - many before we started this page, so you won’t find all of that here unfortunately. We’ve also adventured through 33 countries and recently finished a 6-month trip across Europe, Central America, and South America. We’re still catching up on sharing all those epic moments because Instagram couldn’t keep up with us! 😅😂 🧳We’re mid-range travellers, mixing budget and luxury experiences. We pinch pennies when we need to without skimping on comfort and splurge when we want to. We’re game for anything on our trips, balancing it all out, but delicious food, insane landscapes, unique experiences and a dose of history trump all. ✈️This page is our little travel haven. Get ready for breathtaking destinations, cool experiences, travel tips, itineraries, and a sprinkle of our couple shenanigans. We also have a website with destination guides to help you plan your trips, and offer 1:1 consultation calls for trip planning. Plus, we’re slowly diving into YouTube! Check out all the links in our bio @trywanderingmore. We’re 50k strong today! 🎉 From the craziness of planning trips to snapping those perfect moments, it’s all worth it with your awesome support. Thanks for joining us on this wild ride! Let’s keep exploring together 😊 by @trywanderingmore
Are you enticed to visit Kashmir in autumn? 🍂 I’ve always wanted to experience autumn and finally getting to see the chinar leaves turn shades of yellow and red was such a special feeling 🍁 We were a little early for the peak colours (as I knew we would be even when planning the trip!) even then it was an absolute dream. And now I have one more reason to go back 😬 #autumninkashmir #kashmirtravel by @trywanderingmore
Kinda busy in Kashmir 🍂 I have a prepaid SIM, so when it stopped working on landing in Kashmir, I didn’t bother getting a local connection. It was actually exhilarating. Modis postpaid phone was working so we managed. And since the hotel WiFi was pretty shitty most of the time, I really did feel cut off from the world most of the time. And it was AMAZING! 😅 Now tell me.. would you be able to go a whole week without mobile connectivity???? Locations: 📍Thajiwas Glacier, Sonamarg 📍Naseem Bagh, Sri Nagar 📍Joyride, Phase 1, Gulmarg Gondola 📍Dal Lake Shikara #kashmirtrip #traveltransition by @trywanderingmore
Kashmir from late-Oct to mid-Nov is a sight to see, with the chinar trees turning beautiful shades of yellow and reddish brown.🍁😍 We visited in late October and, while the colours were beautiful, we wished we’d gone a little later to see more of those deep red hues. If you’re planning an autumn trip to Kashmir, here’s what I’d recommend: 🍁 Visit in November for deeper red autumn colours (though timing varies with the weather). 🍁 Explore the Mughal Gardens of Srinagar, especially Nishat Bagh (nicer) and Naseem Bagh (free). The shore of Dal Lake also has beautiful fall colours. 🍁 Take a day trip to South Kashmir and visit Achabal, Kokernag (epic!)and Verinag. The chinar-lined gardens and tree-covered paths are absolutely beautiful this time of year. Save this for your autumn trip to Kashmir! Have you visited Kashmir in autumn? ❤️ by @trywanderingmore
Comment BOOK and I’ll send you the link where you can create your own! ♥️ What’s your goal in life???
Mine is to see as much of this world as I can and collect all these precious memories along the way 🌍🥹 After travelling together with my husband for 9 years, we have thousands of travel photos sitting in Google Photos and on our hard drive. It’s so hard to scroll through them all. But now that we’ve got these photo books printed with @archivebeyond , I love that I can just pick up a book and flip through it whenever I feel like reliving a trip 😍 These aren’t just photo books. They’re little pieces of our lives that my husband and I get to keep forever. And oh, let me not forget to mention just how much I love these covers. They look so pretty sitting on our shelves at home!

Comment ‘Book’ to make your own. #TravelMemories #TravelPhotobook #ad by @trywanderingmore
Hello from Kashmir 🍁 After weeks of overthinking where to go, we finally booked a last minute flight to Kashmir ✈️ I really wanted to see the chinar leaves turn yellow and red this season. Was it the right week to go for that? Maybe not. Did we go anyway? Yesssss.🍁♥️ I guess sometimes you just have to stop waiting for the perfect time and go 🤷🏽‍♀️ Have you been to Kashmir? by @trywanderingmore
Yes, you can still book these trips for THIS December! Or if it’s too late for you, save it for next year and comment ‘December’ for my itineraries and guides.. This Reel mentions places we’ve been to and some we wish to visit (like Oman and Philippines). Given below are places well worth considering but they’re either cold or far so they may need more planning. 🇳🇿 New Zealand: Summer, long days and gorgeous lupin fields. But it’s expensive, takes effort to plan, and you need a visa. Book at least 6 months in advance although campervan trips can be booked closer to the date. 🇲🇽 Mexico: Beaches, ancient ruins, cenotes and incredible food. Mexico City can be chilly though. If you have a US visa, you don’t need a separate visa. 🇦🇷🇨🇱 Patagonia: We visited in November when the snow hadn’t melted, so we wish we’d gone later. For Chile, you don’t need a separate visa if you have a US visa; for Argentina, there’s an e-visa option, but it’s expensive. 🇬🇹 Guatemala: We visited in December and it was perfect! If you have a US visa, you don’t need a separate visa for Guatemala. 🇨🇴 Colombia: One of the most colourful countries we’ve visited! If you have a US visa, you don’t need a separate Colombia visa. 🎄 Christmas markets in Europe: I’d love to visit Europe in December for the Christmas markets. Think Germany, Prague, Budapest and the south of France. Most markets close by Christmas, so plan accordingly. I actively avoid winter trips but one day! 🗽 New York: I’ve done New York in December. The Christmas decor was great but I wouldn’t wish that kind of cold on anyone. Feels like -20°C? No thanks. Never again. 😂 But if you want epic Christmas decor and the Times Square ball drop on NYE, consider it! IMP NOTE: December is peak travel season, so flights and hotels can get expensive. And visa exemptions depend on your passport, the type and validity of any other visa you hold, and the latest entry rules. So always check before booking. Save this for your December vacations! ☀️ by @trywanderingmore

There is much to do in London, that you’ll find yourself just adding more and more things to your itinerary. But it’s not practical to do it all. 🤷🏽‍♀️ After spending 3 weeks doing an insane number of things around London, acc to me, this itinerary is best for first time visitors. Yes, it’s got the popular touristy sights. And no, do not miss them just cause they’re touristy. Cause they’re part of a quintessential London experience. So comment ‘LONDON’ for the detailed itinerary with maps, walking routes, restaurants, where to stay, etc. Everything to help you plan your first trip to London! If you wanna do more offbeat things or have more time, I have a lot more things to do listed in my blog (link in bio). by @trywanderingmore
