Ever since I was a child, I dreamed of something *international*.

Ever since I was a child, I dreamed of something international. I didn’t even know what that meant back then. I was small, uneducated, and knew so little about the world. But I felt a strong pull inside me- not a hope- an inner voice saying, you will and need be out there.

I grew up with my mother, who raised me alone. Unfortunately, it wasn’t a harmonious story. My mother was violent. I often had bruises all over my body, until one day my teachers started asking where they came from. I told them it was from falling down the stairs. When I told my mother that the teachers had asked me, she only hit me on my back instead.

When I was sixteen, I left her. When I left that so called home, it took courage, it was the beginning of a new kind of freedom, maybe too much freedom- nobody really explaining me what is good, better, best. I went into foster care, and about a year and a half later, when I turned eighteen, I moved into my own apartment.

Since I left my mother, life hasn’t always been easy, but it has been lighter. There was less pressure, less fear, and much more space to observe. Through observation, I’ve learned a lot, and through listening, I’ve learned even more.

Traveling became part of that process, a way to see, to understand, and to heal.
Also theater and dance... Even these were miracles, miracle stories in themselves.

But of course, the greatest healing came through God through Music.
Between the ages of seventeen and twenty-four, I went through a deep seven-year healing process during which many powerful things happened.
I experienced healing, releasing the darkness, letting go of hatred, and freeing so many stuck and hidden emotions.

I didn't plan to share this part of my life under that picture, but there's always a reason why words flow as they do 💙 Even better, if this can give courage to someone 💛

Blessed.
To reach this beautiful place, one sometimes has to wake up early and drive through some puddles. 😄

Three souls, one boat, a captain at the helm,
Juliana and me, discovering our little realm.
Through mangroves green, where turquoise waters flow,
Under endless skies of blue, with nowhere else to go.

We painted our faces, laughed like little kids,
Learned new sailing skills, embraced whatever the wind gives.
A little wild, a little wise, responsible when it mattered,
With delicious food, shared moments, and hearts that felt so scattered… in the best way.

Turquoise, emerald, deep blue and sky,
A peaceful world beneath an endless sky.
Nature all around us, the wind carrying us free,
Three happy souls, one beautiful memory.

The perfect little crew, the sweetest kind of ride,
With laughter, food and friendship as our compass and our guide.
