I’ve been in the hospital since Saturday, and I wanted to give everyone a little update. A weeks ago, I made a post about my swollen tummy. Well… it got so much worse that I joked I was about to give birth to baby Jesus this past weekend. 😅 Humor has definitely been helping me get through this. As of now, the medical team is still trying to figure out what’s causing all the fluid buildup in my body that’s making me swell. At first, they thought it might be my thyroid. Then they wanted to make sure it wasn’t related to my heart, so yesterday I had a procedure done where they put a camera wire into my arteries checked why my heart was pumping so fast. They also drained the fluid from my abdomen and sent it to the lab, hoping it will finally give us some answers. And for those wondering about my arm in the photo… don’t worry! 😂 I came to the hospital to get better, but my arm looks like I’m part of auditioned for a vampire buffet. 🧛‍♂️ Every bruise and needle poke is just part of the medical team working hard to find answers. The waiting has honestly been the hardest part, but I’m hanging in there. ❤️ I also want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to my family and friends who have called, texted, visited, and kept me in your prayers. Your love and support have lifted my spirits more than you’ll ever know. I didn’t want to make a big deal out of this, but I wanted to let everyone know what’s been going on since so many of you have been checking in. If there’s one thing I’ve learned through all of this, it’s to listen to your body. Don’t ignore the signs when something doesn’t feel right. Take care of your health because sometimes life—or maybe the universe—throws us unexpected challenges. We may not understand why, but all we can do is keep moving forward one day at a time. Thank you all for your love, prayers, and support. Hopefully, my next update will come with some answers. Until then, I’ll keep fighting, keep smiling, and maybe collect a few less bruises along the way. 🙏🏽❤️ by @tserey
