More than a magazine, The Scout Guide is a beautifully curated annual city guide and keepsake celebrating the most distinguished local businesses in each city it calls home—and now, Napa Valley joins that collection.

Through refined print features, digital storytelling, and a thoughtfully curated online directory, we will spotlight the founders, business owners, artisans, creatives, and visionaries shaping Napa Valley—from Napa to Yountville to St. Helena to Calistoga.

Volume I is currently in curation. Follow along as we explore, curate, and celebrate the very best of Napa Valley.

SCOUTED | Raymond Vineyards 🍷

At Raymond Vineyards, there’s a little bit of the unexpected around every corner.

Founded in 1971, @raymondvineyard is one of Napa Valley’s historic estates, where a deep respect for the land meets the imaginative world of proprietor Jean-Charles Boisset.

Outside, the Theater of Nature brings Raymond’s commitment to organic and Biodynamic farming to life. Through gardens, animals, and educational displays, visitors discover how the vineyard’s ecosystem plays a role in the wines it produces.

Step inside, and the experience takes on an entirely different personality. Rich velvet, dramatic interiors, and the iconic Red Room bring a sense of theater and extravagance to the world of wine.

It’s a fascinating balance of nature and indulgence, tradition and imagination, and a reminder that a visit to a Napa Valley winery can be about so much more than what’s in your glass.

After months of shoots all over the valley, photography for our Volume One partners is officially complete.

We’ve been inside wineries, shops, studios, salons, gardens, homes—and plenty of places in between—capturing the businesses and people who will fill the pages of our very first Napa Valley guide.

There’s still plenty happening behind the scenes before Volume One makes its way into your hands, but this feels like a pretty special milestone.

What Our Editor Saw This Week: Harvest Edition 🍇

This week, we started wrapping up a few of our final partner shoots and found ourselves right in the middle of harvest season here in Napa Valley! Harvest came early this year, and you can feel it everywhere. Mornings start with the smell of grapes in the air, and once the sun goes down, tractor lights glow between the vines as crews work late into the night. There’s truly nothing quite like harvest season in Napa Valley. 🍇

We had so much fun having Christina at a recent Scout Guide event, where guests chose their own bracelets to be bonded on the spot—including a custom Scout Guide option created especially for the evening. It was such a fun, personalized addition to the night.
