PORTRAIT / KEN COLLIER

Laurine & Cecilio, Nostromo Festival 2021 - Who was there ?

Fun fact:
Five years ago, I had the chance to dig at the famous A1 Record Shop in NYC. That day, my selfish a$$ was mad at what I thought was a couple, because we were the only three people digging through the same 90s house music crates. Later on, I discovered it was Laurine and Cecilio, and they were playing that same day in a venue in town. Two years later, I spotted them performing a solid mix at Nostromo Festival, thinking they were maybe playing some records from A1 😇 taken in Château De Motteux by @tsmacorp

The only secret weapon we all need ?
Back in 2016, the multidisciplinary artist @filfury presented an art series titled MAKE ART THE WEAPONS.
The serie introduces some highly realistic artworks of weapons made of famous electronic music equipment parts such as the legendary Technics 1200 mk2 turntable or Neumann microphone to name a few by @tsmacorp
