Here we are, casually dropping the official trailer for “The Couple,” aka the first installment of the @moment_of_truth_short_film series as well as the @first_fire_studios debut film! The trailer was made by the incredible @elize_ahrens. @noccosmodernlife, @theballadofjpc, and @tstainrod have been working diligently for a very long time to make this project a reality, and are beyond thrilled to share it with the world. In Adriana’s and Joe’s cases, the completion and release of this first series installment marks their official debuts as producers, and also marks Adriana’s debut as a screenwriter 😎Get excited, and stay tuned for updates as we plan our official premiere party and submit to festivals 🎉 Thank you again to all of our donors for your generosity, and to the top notch team that collaborated with us to bring “The Couple” to life: @kaan.sekban, @linsysegarra, @remstatic, @ryanjamesmetcalf, @brycekylie, @catyudaintea, @madelinecoronato, @celestyb, @ferchibaldo_, and @just_godsvessel. Myself and the team at @first_fire_studios have been working hard on the @moment_of_truth_short_film project since 2020. I’m happy to announce that this weekend, we will begin production on the first installment out of the 4 part series! Few know the sacrifices each member of the team had to endure to make it to this point but it’s been well worth it! I would like to thank each and every person who contributed to the project! With your help we were able to raise over $14,000 through @seedandspark to kickstart the series! Directed by @ryanjamesmetcalf, the first segment in ‘Moment of Truth’ will star the lovely @linsysegarra as she takes on the role of Sophie, while playing Oliver (and making his American film debut) is the talented @kaan.sekban! Written & Produced by @scarlet_citizen, @noccosmodernlife, @just_godsvessel & myself; we’re excited to share with you the plans we have for the series going forward with that journey beginning this weekend! 30 is crazy 😳 but I def appreciated all the love yesterday! Last month I lost my boy (my brother) a few days before his 30th birthday 💔 Then a few days after that I lose another friend to a car accident. We all just expect to reach these ages till life hits you with that reality check every so often…I can’t take this moment for granted, I refuse to 🙏🏾 So I’m raising my glass in the air 🍷 grateful for the ups, the downs, the losses, the lessons, and the growth; grateful to God for allowing me to see 30!
