dear gvhs softball,
never in a million years would i ever expect this team to go to state all 3 years. with that being said, out of those 3 years we placed 8th, 6th, and 2nd. we placed 2nd this year as a 6 seeded team. this is by far the hardest goodbye of highschool. all of my teammates and my overall love for the game. i’ll never get to experience a family like team, just like this one, again. i’m truly thankful for this team. no more annoying bus rides home, arguing over whose next in hitting lines, pre game stretching, hotel foolery, none of it. this team is truly un replaceable. i’ll miss my underclassmen but more specifically playing the sport with my bestfriend. even though we are no where near eachother on the field, she’s still always with me on ever play. i love you kay.
