God, thank you. These past 4 years at Howard University as a first-generation student has been a testimony to my growth and journey to becoming a young Black woman. Having this experience is a gift and a privilege that nothing will ever compare to. Throughout the very highs and the very lows, Howard has blessed me with something that is only achievable by being a Bison: Family. To Iota Rho Chapter and Erudite, thank you for being my first-ever family and the support I needed. You all have had front row seats to my wins, losses, and my learning lessons. Thank you all for taking me in and accepting me wholeheartedly. 13 In, 13 Out. To Alpha Chapter and X55, the blessing I didn’t know I needed. Throughout this small timeframe, you all have given me an experience of a lifetime. I can’t wait to give my all to you for the rest of time. To my Family and Village, thank you for never losing faith in me. The youngest child, grandchild, and cousin, this legacy has large shoes to fill and I hope to have filled them well. To be a Delta Woman is truly no easy feat. The journey that it took to get here was long but worthwhile. To start a legacy in my own family is a blessing in itself, but this isn’t a just win for me, it’s for those who came before me, molding me into the woman I am today. To X55, thank you for being you! each niche personality, inside joke, and conversation is just the tip of the iceberg of what you all mean to me. You all have seen me at my lows and highs. Being forever sisters with this special group is unlike anything else and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere but beside you. To my mommy number and 24 lineage, you all have guided me so gracefully throughout this experience. All of your unwavering support and dedication to my growth as a Delta Woman has been the best experience and I am forever indebted to the best lineage. Thank You Delta.
